Absolutely delighted with our room (especially as we got an upgrade) on our return to this beautiful hotel and we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we come back to Ameland. Everything both super modern and really cosy. Reception super helpful and staff endlessly kind even at this very busy time. Coffee, tea and biscuits available at no extra charge in a part of the restaurant you can use as a lounge all day (we got into a routine of going for a wet/rainy bike ride, having a bath, then playing a board game in this nice communal space).

While breakfast is plentiful and nice quality, it feels really expensive at €22 a head. We will dream of returning again to this lovely place but we'll probably not book in for breakfast every day.

I liked the hands off policy of the hotel. They can provide whatever you need and ask for, but mostly leave you alone. Also the rooms are very nice, efficient, and have everything you need (towels, tv, music, large shower, terrace, wifi, nice bath products, a/c), and the beds are very comfortable! Staff are very friendly and helpful and extra towels, coffee and (paid) snacks are always available. Would definitely go here again (and probably will).

We felt very welcome upon arrival and were welcomed with a drink to our choice. We could even already get to our bright, cool, clean and pretty room prior to check in time, which was super nice. Just sending a whatsapp message for anything you need is so convenient. No old-school phones in rooms, but just easy, whenever it pops into your mind.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to surprise and treat us well. From complimentary coupons and welcome champagne to helpful tips and free coffee, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. We particularly enjoyed the lovely terrace in front of the hotel. We couldn't have asked for a better experience

Bed is so comfortable and the double shower is awesome. Love that we have our own coffee machine with normal coffee beans in the room.

Our 2nd night in the hotel was disturbing when the toilet flush didnt work and the wifi was gone all of the sudden. But they fixed it the morning.

Lovely staff, room looked super nice with great shower and bed. Breakfast was good and the people were all so helpful. A nice walk away from the beach and the town itself is super cute too. We liked that they contacted us through Whatsapp before and we were able to use WhatsApp for questions and dinner reservations etc

For the comfort room the space to get to the other side of the bed was quite small. (I had to shuffle sideways). It wasn't horrible and I definitely managed, but for a comfort room the space around the bed could've been just a tiny bit more comfortable.

They made the bed with roses for us as a suprise which was really nice. Staff was really friendly and everything was very clean. Had a really amazing anniversary trip!

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. But there was a bakery 2 minutes away so it was no problem.

perfect location, only a few minutes from restaurants, nice large room with cool twin shower glass cabin, fully automatic coffee machine, room cleaning upon request, empty little fridge, staff very friendly and helpful

a little dusty on the main board and hairy in the drain, but in general no complaints in this regard, drinks from the self service refrigerator at the reception are quite pricey (same as in restaurant)

Wonderful hotel in the middle of Nes. Very modern room with a double shower and a comfortable bed. Very nice and fresh breakfast in the morning.
