John amd Betty were one of the kindest hosts we have met on our way from Alaska to Texas.Due to weather conditions we ended up completing a last min booking for the day of.We were already in town and tired from a long day of moving and travel.When we reached out to the property for an early check in request,John responded immediately,provided detailed instructions on how to find their house,,and was very kind to offer us an early check in so we can get some sleep.Moreover John noticed that we had an issue with our trailer and took the initiative to offer his assistance in the morning once we wake up. We are very grateful for all his help and willingness to land a hand with flipping our hitch so we can continue our trip safely.Last but not least,eventhough we departed very early the next morning and opted out the breakfast service,John got up as early as we did and cooked an yummy morning meal for us.Thank you John and Betty for all you do,it was a pleasure to meet you and your family!

We returned for a further night which says it all really! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were charming and we enjoyed talking with them. Our room had a shared bathroom which was not an issue. It also had a seating area adjacent to the room where on our first stay we chatted with people from the adjacent room till midnight! The breakfast is great and there is no issue about being pushed out - one has to extricate oneself!

The place is remote. There are really only two places to eat and it's probably best to eat on the way rather than going out afterwards which would definitely require a car.

The Copperville BnB is a charming little abode in proximity to Glennallen along the Richardson Hwy. The hosts are friendly (John and Beth), and if someone is a dog lover then this is also the place to be. Great location, great breakfast, the room was comfortable, and the views of the Wrangells are amazing.

My stay should have been longer!!! :)

We loved our stay at this b&b. John was an incredible host and greeted us on arrival and showed us around. We rented the apartment above the garage and it was a really big space and super clean. We were just there for a short stay but it appeared to have all the amenities you could ask for. The snacks left for us were a really nice touch. John made us a huge breakfast before we left and that was excellent as well.

This is a private home. John and Betty are a couple who enjoy the feeling of having visitors to counter the "empty nest", and do their utmost to make their guests feel at home.

The location is a bit isolated in the country, and they have their helping of mosquitoes :-) A couple of restaurants are at Copper Center, about 20 minutes distance by car.

Breakfast was good, host was very interesting. Accommodations were comfortable and clean.

Host needs to finish the construction of the units. Tyvek on exterior walls is not an indication theatthe construction is actually ready for occupants and (just a note on the construction - Tyvek is not sealed if the staples are not taped over). Interior was nice but also not finished.

Super quaint and quirky and not lacking any amenities! Privacy of a tiny cabin with a first class kitchen (actually 2!) and plenty of flush toilets - indoor and outdoor - and the same for the shower. A legit hot shower w great water pressure outside! The staff was wonderful. Even got a discount on outstanding fjord tour w Kenai Fjords Tours. Would absolutely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Copperville B&B Though the B&B was labeled as in Glennallen, it is really located in Copperville slightly south from Glennallen off the highway in a small neighborhood with fabulous views of the Wrangell Mountains. Our host, John, had been in contact with us to clarify the address and we had a contact phone no. if there were questions. John was also a pilot and very interesting to talk with about piloting in Alaska. It was a new B&B, some parts still being completed, and we had the very large, second-story apartment with big-window views of the Wrangell Mountains. It had its own outside exits (2) onto the deck, 2 double beds, full bathroom, separate bedroom, kitchen, living room and laundry room, and was well furnished. It was brand new and very clean and well stocked. It would have been good for at least a 3-4-person family. Breakfast was served with the family in their kitchen which was very enjoyable and a nice way to meet people and learn about what it was like to live in Alaska. We enjoyed the Inn and the people who ran it. Glennallen is barely a Hamlet and has limited restaurants but we ate at a good Mexican one in Glennallen. We were told that the Thai restaurant was good too. We would highly recommend this B&B for the Glennallen area.

It was very remote but we were on our way to Valdez and it was a great place to stay on the way.

Our first time at B&B. Has all the comforts of a hotel with added benefit of thoughtful provision of essential supplies by the host. Kitchen was fully equipped for those that want to cook. We used Washer and drier along with laundry supplies.

None I can think off.

Breakfast was tasty! John even prepared the 2 eggs over EZ, buttered toast and bacon I requested 😋 My “hosts”, John and Betty were very accommodating and easy going conversationalists. The location was central to the places I visited during my short stay. I liked the choice of “munchies” like nuts, chocolates and snack bars located just inside the entrance door! I didn’t take many pictures but, chose to share 2 of them here. All in all, my 3 days of “down time” exceeded my expectations! And meeting their other (furry baby) family member, Pixel was a pleasant surprise.

Honestly, there’s nothing I “didn’t like”.
