Nice location on beach with sea view room. Breakfast buffet was included with large selection of foods. Rooftop pool was small but nice.

When I asked to have the A/C lowered from 20 degrees because the room was hot I was told that it was hotel policy and that approval had to be granted from the management. We were there in a heat spell of 40 degrees. They did change it but it took some convincing. When I asked for ice I was told to go to the supermarket down the street. Some staff were friendly but others were not. The hotel is also next to what could possibly be the ugliest building I've ever seen. We thought it was a condemned building. Very difficult to park as well. No onsite parking.

The breakfast was fantastic with a nice selection. The location of the hotel on the beach was perfect and it’s nice that the closer parking is not too far. The staff was welcoming and helpful with any questions. Bonus is they speak several languages so communication was not an issue for us.

There is not proper lighting in the shower. Low lighting is nice for ambience but bright light should be an option. Without a doubt, ladies would like to shave if staying for several days and going to the beach… bad enough there is nothing to prop your foot on for better reach, it’s also extremely hard to see (especially for those who wear glasses or have older eyes with limited vision and/or focus).

Had a family room which was ok size wise for a family of 4 but didn’t have much space to hang things/hooks etc. sink looks lovely (although our mirror above sink was badly cracked but not sure if was supposed to be as part of distressed look?) but impractical as no space around to put our 4x wash bags. Ok as only there 4 2 nights (so didn’t unpack anything) but any longer & this would have been an issue. I must add we are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers of 16 & 14, so more like 4 adults- prob ok if smaller/younger kids. I think I thought for the money we paid the room would be bigger & more like a suite than a slightly bigger room for 2 people with 2 extra beds in. Staff were exceptional though & couldn’t do enough for us. Particularly the head of reception & 2 other reception staff (a young girl & a man but I’m sorry I can’t remember their names.Also loved the rooftop pool area! All looked really new, clean, trendy & was the highlight of the stay!

Room size (as per above) & some shared parts of the hotel (corridors/gym for eg) in need of some TLC/updating. Stayed in many hotels recently in France/spain & this was the most expensive per night although most definitely not the most luxurious. Think this was more to do with the location & the time of year but still left me feeling we had paid a lot for what we actually got. I didn’t research the locstion/area so had no idea it was such a busy, popular & expensive resort.

I had rung 4 weeks before our visit as I have broken my ankle, in a wheelchair. I was reassured that it would not be a problem as the rooms and facilities were fully accessible, except the pool. Obviously no note had been made of my call. The reception staff were helpful in trying to get me a suitable room, the first I was unable even to get into due to the position of the wardrobe , the second was better. Reception staff were also helpful when our room was too hot. Staff in the breakfast room and the cleaners were also helpful. The shower was great.

Ridiculous to expect people with mobility problems to go outsude to use the ramp to the breakfast room. If it rains you get absolutely soaked. Also there is no access to the inside of the restaurant or the bar. Our room 103 was in need of refurbishment. The unit holding the wash basin was very tatty.

Great sunbeds around swimming pool with amazing view, also, there is free towel service Staff is very friendly, room is cleaned excellent every day.

- The hotel is right near beach and multiple bars, so it can be quite loud till 2-3 am - My spouse didn't like that there were no female masseurs

The hotel is great, the people workign there are very helpful and pleasant. We felt very welcome. The rooms were clean. The breakfast is great, and the people workign there are very nice. The location is absolutley amazing.

The pool was not clean, the water was not clear, and not clean. Also, the rooms are quite tight, but maybe that is common in hotels. The sink was in the actual room which was a bit odd, but ok.

The staff was super friendly and they speak several languages, it is really impressive! The location is perfect, next to the beach and the view from the room was also spectacular, on the sea. The cleaning personnel worked very hard and they did a very good job! The breakfast was okay, nothing special but it is a nice touch that you can ask a cook to prepare your fresh eggs or omelette / toasty. Maybe a bit more variation in the food could be nice, since eating the same stuff for 12 days can be a bit boring.

The duvet on the bed is wrapped into two sheets which is super annoying any time you want to use it. Why not just use a regular one? The underground parking is 5 minutes walk from the hotel which should be in the general description and also that it costs 18 eur per night. Moreover, this garage is super narrow and it is in a dead-end street and I managed to scratch the car in the turn...and I was not the only one. Maybe parking in the street would be better.

The location is great. We were captivated by the view from the roof . In general it's a great place We're you could spent your time with pleasure and relax. Definitely we would like to visit this hotel again!!

Everything was perfect except the fact that the parking isn't situated directly in the hotel as we initially understood from the fotos .When we came it was raining incredibly so we should firstly find a parking in the city and then completely wet were returning to the hotel.

My family and myself had one week stay in the hotel, everything was amazing; the breakfast, the buffet dinner, the rooms and above all the hotel's staff service which was very professional, polite and they were there for any help we've asked them. Borja from the reception is an amazing guy who helped us a lot, always with a big smile. I highly recommend Planamar Hotel, and we will definitely come back to stay there!!!! Thank you for a great stay!!!!

The staff is very helpful and respectful. The rooms are always clean , great breakfast and wonderful customer service. All the front desk associates are nice. Special recognition to Mark , he helped us since the first day with advice and absolutely great attitude. Thank you
