Lovely spacious room, good bed with excellent pillows. Having had a recent knee op loved the bath which helped ese the knee pain. Washer/dryer quiet and efficient. Well equipped kitchenette though we only used it for tea/coffee. Nice view. Good breakfast with a choice of hot food every day. Mainly Chinese of course but you could put together a western breakfast if you wanted, Decent gym for a hotel. Had all it needed for my rehab. Coffee shop with good coffee and rooftop garden. Convenience store open long hours (24hr maybe) right next door. Some restaurants within walking distance. Some were closed as we stayed at Chinese New Year, Metro a short walk. Nice park with Arboretum close by.

Pool closed. My card got refused when I paid on arrival. As we were staying a while the amount was quite high. Fortunately our daughter who lives in Suzhou was with us and paid from her bank. This was I am sure not the hotel's fault, but the CC company declining based on fraud risk. I might ask if I can pay in advance next time.

1. Spacious apartment with two bedrooms — ideal for families (we traveled with two kids). 2. Having a washing machine is a great bonus for families. 3. The staff are very friendly, from reception and concierge to the breakfast restaurant and housekeeping. 4. Beds are large and comfortable.

1. The bathroom could use more frequent deep cleaning — there’s noticeable dark grime between the shower tiles that looks like it’s been there for quite some time. 2. There’s no bathtub in this 100m² apartment, which can be inconvenient for families with young children.

Helpfull staffs, they can speak English. Room is very beautiful, spacious and full of modern furnitures, love the washing machine (with dryer function). Fantastic location, Metro is 100m nearby. A lot of malls in a range of 1, 2 stations. There are FamilyMart, seafood restaurant nearby (Baiyan), which you can choose seafood by yourself in 1st floor supermarket & bring to 3rd floor for processing (go to 3rd floor first to get ticket number).

Location of the hotel is wrong in Booking apps. You should use location in Apple or Baidu maps. Otherwise you will get our wrong Metro station.

Everything about the unit. Layout, size, facilities. Child friendly have children playground and playroom, it even have pet zone with rabbit and birds chirping for distraction. Hotel is complimented with a robot handling delivery food straight to your hotel room. The size of the unit is absolutely amazing, very very comfy for kids to run around.

The bed was very large and comfortable with high quality linen and pillows. The room had a washer dryer machine with washing powder supplied so you can wash your own clothes. There is a convenience store just outside the hotel and Nanshijie metro station is only 150 metres walk from the hotel so there is good travel options from the hotel. The hotel is only a 5 minute taxi from SIP railway station which is a very easy to use train station.

Breakfast was pretty simple. There was a good variety of Chinese cooked foods but the selection of fresh fruits and pastries could be improved to fall in line with the standards expected at an ASR group hotel. The sausages and what was meant to be bacon were very poor quality. Much better can be sourced from the nearby supermarkets if you want to cook a western breakfast in your room using the cooker or microwave.

This place is a very good place to dwell all round: friendly and efficient staff, nice views, a pleasant room, solid WiFi and a surprisingly tasty breakfast - close to everything. Sincere compiments!

Only details, for example, that some parts of the apartment were carpeted.

I had a problem with the in room washing machine. The maintenance guy came up straight away. The issue couldn't be fixed, but within 30 minutes a new machine was put in place. Great service.

A walk in shower would be better.

Staff always friendly and accommodating. Good location and good in room facilities.

Western breakfast options could be higher quality. Many rooms have an over bathe shower, so this could prove difficult for some.

Everything goods as usual, my only question of the Baitang is the quality of the breakfast compared to other Somerset hotels I have stayed in in Asia recently.
