Our room was relatively clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife and I slept very soundly.

The continental breakfast was kind of a joke. It consisted of 3 kinds of kids cereal, 3 "very ripe" bananas, and coffee. Most places we stay at least have at least a variety of fruit, bagels, bread, pastries or donuts and most even have Belgium waffle makers and premeasured batter to make waffles. If one of your selling points is free breakfast, it should be more than cereal and old bananas. Also, the in room coffee machine was really dirty inside so we did not use it.

I am a native of Licking Mo but moved away when I was young (am now in my mid 60s). I come back regularly for family events. This hotel (building) was present in my earliest memories - so it is an older construction. You can tell the facilities and decor are dated but this is easily offset by the low price. The room was clean comfortable and quiet. So while not fancy, all the basics are met with a very reasonable price.

The TV remote was finicky. I had to sit up in bed to change channels. I guess a few sit ups won't hurt me. One of the light bulbs by the sink was burned out. And here is an odd one - the toilet would randomly flush by itself. It happened 2 or 3 times each night. I wasn't present through the day.

In previous visits, the place was mediocre at best. However, this time, the room smelled nice, everything was exceptionally clean, I felt safe & the staff was kind, attentive, & eager to assure my stay was enjoyable. Even though it is outdated, this little motel has a lot of charm.

The bed could have had a mattress topper on it to make it a bit more comfortable.

We had to wait to check in as the office personnel had left the premises. Our wait was about 15 minutes but others waited an hour. Don’t count on the continental breakfast. We had a banana and a Little Debbie cookie.

The breakfast was not good. There really was no breakfast. There was coffee and there was a box of cereal. I asked if there was breakfast but the lady looked at me and pointed at the box of cereal. There was a small basket that had some "Little Debbie" oatmeal cookies in it and we took one.

The room very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the room heater was very loud when it turned on. Every time the heater turned on, (which was about every 30 minutes), the noise would wake you up.

The location is close to the Big Piney River, and the price is hard to pass.

Some stains on bedding and tub. The room smelled clean and looked it for the most part.

Maybe a little more selection for breakfast. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. I asked for an hour extension on checking out they check to see if was possible. They said it wouldn’t be a problem.

The pool could have been skimmed better. We had a good time in the pool. That’s the only thing that needed attention.

Did not partake.

Unfortunate - Major road maintenance was noisy and caused rerouting to avoid traffic blockages - not within hotel's control.

This is an older hotel and you can see signs of wear. The carpet was worn but the things that matter most were fine. The room A/C was running when I arrived (thank you staff) and it kept the room cool on a 105 degree day. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The room was amazingly quiet. The hotel was appropriate for the cost.

My room did not have soap - probably just an oversite from the staff. The carpet and bedding are obvious old and worn. Might be time to start updating.
