Home Away From Home – Ascott M-City Foshan I really, really enjoyed my stay at Ascott M-City Foshan. The location is fantastic—surrounded by restaurants, malls, and lots of places to explore if you feel like taking a walk. It’s such a bubbly, vibrant area. I came for a business trip, but honestly, it felt like a vacation thanks to the ambience and comfort this place offers. The rooms are clean, neat, and thoughtfully designed for your absolute comfort. Ascott M-City truly lives up to its promise of a "home away from home." The city views—whether at breakfast or from your room—are stunning. Every detail has been carefully considered to give guests a premium yet reasonably priced experience. I loved the gym, swimming pool 🏊, relaxing lounge, and the beautifully styled restaurant where breakfast is served. The environment gives a luxurious, high-quality feel without the inflated price tag. If you’re looking for value, comfort, and a peaceful yet premium stay, this is the place. The service was outstanding. A huge thank you to the staff, the ever-helpful bell boys, Ruby, Louis Tan (Sales Manager), and the always-smiling chef who made my eggs just right every morning. I love a good breakfast, and while the restaurant itself is beautiful, the breakfast could definitely be improved. I'd love to see a wider variety of intercontinental dishes, especially considering that many guests are international, not just locals. More options would truly elevate the experience. Also, I personally prefer a medium-firm mattress, but the one in my room felt a little too soft for my liking. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but a firmer option would’ve been perfect.

My stay at the hotel was exceptionally convenient and enjoyable. One of the standout features was its prime location—situated right next to a large shopping mall, which made dining, shopping, and entertainment easily accessible without the need for extensive travel. Whether I wanted a quick bite, some retail therapy, or just a relaxing stroll, everything was just steps away. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to Foshan city centre—only about a 15-minute drive—meant that exploring the cultural and commercial heart of the city was both quick and hassle-free. This made it ideal for both leisure and business travelers who want to balance convenience with access to local attractions. The location truly enhanced the overall experience, allowing me to make the most of my time in Foshan with minimal commuting. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-connected and comfortable place to stay.

Everything was amazing. The only thing I suffered with was that the staff at front desk didn't speak English but that is the case with everyone in China.

Beautiful hotel, with friendly staff! We had a fantastic stay experience. The staff, though English is not their first language, did their best with 'translate' to always assist with anything, including arranging Didi rides for us - especially due to not having 'wechat. The location was ideal, conveniently close to McDonald's, KFC, bubble tea, shopping centre across the street and a mini-mart next door. Despite being so centrally located and next to the main road, the hotel remained surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat. The breakfast each morning was wonderful, with plenty of delightful options to start the day right. I loved the hotel's amenities, especially the spa, steam room, and sauna, all of which were available daily from morning until 10 PM. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch and came at no extra charge. One of the standout features was the in-room washing machine, which was a real convenience. We were also impressed by the robots that assist the concierge, adding a fun and futuristic touch to the overall guest experience 😀 Overall, this hotel offered great value for the price and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Will be back again ❤️

Couldn't fault a thing!

The location was excellent. The staff were highly supportive, communicative, and genuinely eager to assist. Breakfast was very good, and the chef was exceptionally friendly. Special thanks to Luise, who went the extra mile to make our stay more comfortable.

The rooms were not interconnected, which resulted in us being placed far from our son's room. Although the staff made an effort to rearrange the rooms, we believe the hotel could have handled this situation more effectively.

Excellent location close to shops and restaurants. Very large and very clean apartment.

Very poor breakfast for foreigners. Not all people eat Asian food in the morning for breakfast. Too bad because it is an excellent hotel that could attract more foreign customers with a continental or American breakfast Unfortunately another black ball I have to add is the communication in English. Apart from the reception staff, no one speaks English.

The hotel is clean and they have upgraded me from a studio to a one bedroom apartment. It also provides washing solutions free of charge for the use of washing machine. It also has swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. Bed is very comfortable.

The only thing I dislike is the toilet and shower screen are transparent even though there is a door. Reason been if it is not see through, at lease both the facilities can be use separately at the same time by different persons

The place was super clean,the room very spacious and all its furniture was in great condition. staff very accommodating and helpful. As for the location, it had many cafes/shops/restaurants downstairs and right across the street.

Might consider one thing: adding signal booster in the floors

Comfortable and clean. Studio room had full kitchenette with washer and dishwasher even though we didn’t use them. Staff are lovely. Super efficient. Wide variety at breakfast with good coffee and breads Super convenient as located two mins walk from metro and mall with supermarket and restaurants across the road

We booked the largest room with two bedrooms. The room was excellent, very comfortable. Quiet, very clean. Opposite the hotel there is a shopping center, where there are many restaurants. The breakfast is quite varied and tasty.

All was good … the sign Ascott was not lighted at night so the taxi could not see where to stop they need to fix that

The lobby is supposed to be stated lobby … the 1 floor is stated transfer lobby so it confuses but maybe in china it’s this way
