Our room was big with a nice big clean bathroom. Typical Indian style bathroom (no separated shower) but the room is large so toilet is not constantly wet. The room had great airco which helpful as we were there in summer. The property itself had a tidy simple garden but is well kept. They are working on a pool and larger garden area which will be completed in a few months - this will definitely add to the atmosphere. The food that was served was freshly made and you could tell! It was very good and we enjoyed all of our meals. The staff were always helpful but the owner specifically was so lovely! He helped us to get our safari tickets and walked us through the process. Our train in and out were massively delayed. He arranged a cab to pick us up and monitored our trains arrivals so we didn’t have to wait at the platform. We had a late check out so could wait in comfort. We are so thankful for his help! Overall we thought this property was well located near the national park, easy to walk to town and generally is a great spot to stay while visiting the park. We would recommend!

The staff was very polite and helpful. Service was fast and we were very well catered to through out our stay. Our room was very spacious and clean with a front lawn that was an added bonus. The location of the hotel is very convenient as well as it is walking distance to the main gate of the National Park. Plenty of stores nearby. Overall our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend Hotel Jungle Palace to any future travelers to Bandhavgarh.

I thought this hotel with its big room, hot water, some of the best food that I’ve eaten during all my travels in a India, cleanliness and centrally located in Tala (but set back from the main road so was quiet) was fantastic. But the thing that made it particularly great was the charm and warmth and friendliness of the staff and the hotel owner Mr.Saurabh. Highly recommended.

The property is near Tala gate and Tala market. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for two people. The hotel staff are well-behaved and helpful.

The property is located next to a cow-shed. One can always get smell of cattle from the entrance of the property. Washroom needs to be improved. An exhaust fan and better toiletries should be provided.

The extremely nice host in Mr. Saurav who is super humble and kind. He helped us through a lot of information. The food, location and convenience is top notch. It’s the perfect stopover for anyone who is visiting Bandhavgarh.

It’s very well located in the middle of the village of Tala, not at the main road and very close to the booking office of the national park where the safaris start. The rooms are very tidy and clean. They have their own little restaurant where they prepare all kinds of fresh food. So I didn’t have to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is very polite and they always tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They managed everything regarding the safari bookings. Every morning, midday and evening they went with or without me to the booking office to organise everything. Thank you for this great experience at Bandhavgarh National Park!

Saurabh is the best owner I have met. He helped me with everything. He organiced my pick up to Jabalpur airport, he helped me to buy safary tickets in the office, he bought my train ticket to varanasi, is a good man and owner too. The hotel is good, hot watter in shower, big room and bath. Near walking to safary tickets and main road.

Close to Tala and easy accessible to main road. They helped in booking Jungle Safari. They packed breakfast at 0500 Hrs for our Jungle Safari which was sufficient for even lunch and even 2nd morning for our road trip. The staff suggested a slow drive towards Umaria for chance Tiger sighting and it really worked.

Water drainage issues in Washroom. Property assisted in getting it solved. Some light switches need replacement.

Great place to stay! Clean and spacious rooms, good hot water system and nice restaurant. Very helpful staff lead by the owner who accommodated all of our requests including a taxi pick up late at night after our train was delayed. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the Tiger Reserve ticket office, where it is easy to arrange Safari tickets yourself. However the accomodation can also help with this (for a fee) if needed. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
