Good location. Clean and spacious room. Most of all, all members of staff are so nice and helpful. No hotel is perfect. What is important is how the hotel can help solve problems that the guests encounter. This hotel actually has a "customer relations desk". This is something that we rarely see when we travel around the world. The gentleman in charge of "customer relations" is very helpful. Any guests go to him for help, he just does everything possible to satisfy the customers. In addition, the receptionist Diva not only speaks very good English, but is also willing to help customers. If it weren't for her help, we wouldn't have been able to travel from Patong to the south of Sumatra so smoothly.

Wi-Fi are little slow in some rooms.

I stayed for one night after going to the Mentawais. Close to the fast ferry port, clean, comfortable, cafes and restaurants nearby. Would stay again for this purpose.

The only thing I didn’t like was the check in staff gave me no information. Things like what facilities are on offer, breakfast info, where my room is. Not a huge thing but the type of thing that can make someone’s stay much better if they know aboot facilities.

The wifi was so unstable that we changed rooms twice and even then there were issues. WIFI unstable and not secure which meant we could not connect to certain websites we needed.

The place is very calm, completed with all needed amenities for offering an awesome stay. The whole Truntum Hotel team took care of us at anytime, enjoyable and respectful people ready to solve any problem we could have for making us feel supported and like at home. They made our experience to be great. Hoping we can come back soon again!

Good location as it is close to the Mentawai Ferry port. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Truntum Padang is our stayover when we visit Kingfisher in the Mentawais and they are always willing to store luggage free of charge for any period if time.

Good location about 800m walk to beach, near to Museum & Padang Earthquake Monument. 5minute drive to Plaza Andalas. Spacious room.

The location and facilities was good

The shower facility was old. It didnt do its job very well; it sprayed everywhere and the absence of shower door makes the whole bathroom wet. We had to shower using the bathroom tap because the shower head was bad. Food was mediocre.

Spacious twinbed room at 5th floor (highest level). Good breakfast buffet. Good location just infront of Museum. 5minutes drive to Plaza Andalas
