Beautiful property, close to center of Parnaíba. Street outside is not aesthetic at all, but so is much of Parnaíba. It’s a true diamond in the rough. Pool is amazing Rooms are comfortable, with great bed linen and comfy spacious surroundings. Breakfast is also very good

Nothing to complain about, other than the price being quite high, which is understandable given I went during high season. Surroundings of hotel are also not nice, but that is beyond the hotels co trip, as Parnaiba is not a very pedestrian friendly or beautiful city. Great place to stay 2 or 3 nights while you explore the Parnaiba Delta

I would describe it as an oasis in the middle of the city. It set off the main street and its very quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay here right from the start. All the receptions are very friendly and speak some English. We had a room facing the pool, but we were never disturbed by any noises. The interior of the room and the outdoor area is something else: everything so stylish, decorated with works of art of local artist. In the evening the pool area is beautifully lit and it felt like in some sort of film set! We were there on our own and it felt like we had the whole pool all to ourselves! There are frogs and iguanas, but for me it was a huge bonus, they are very beautiful and no bother to people. The supermarket is just around the corner and you can order delicious food to be delivered to you from a nearby restaurant. I rate it 10/10!

We adored the staff - everything from knowing all the good spots to visit, to bring friendly enough to exchange language learning (including Brazilian sign language), to helping order food online with a local app, to learning to cook a soft-boiled egg exactly how a European likes it. Wigma and the team make the place a delight. The grounds are also beautiful - tasteful whimsical art, a curvy organic pool, and even friendly lizards and toads on the grass in the morning. Breakfast is top-notch; even their own creation such as tapioca+frango sushi.

There were building works on one side of the pousada which started at 8 am causing quite a lot of noise. We were out all day anyway so for us it wasn’t a dealbreaker, but if you plan to have a lie in it would be a bit tricky. Also, the pousada is in a dark street right behind the city center. It is safe to take cabs from there directly to restaurants

Extremely friendly reception staff. Beautiful place with lovely pool and lots of character. Close to the local restaurants and the river. We checked out at 5am before breakfast so the hotel kindly provided us with a small packed breakfast to go, which was a lovely touch. I wish we could have stayed longer! Great value.

Not enough plug sockets in the room.

Food: You definitely have to make it different every day and switch it up. The food in the tin container was a hit or miss. Sometimes it is to cold. They need to warm it up. The food was not fresh at all. It was like eating leftovers. Here are some ideas for those 3 tin cans in that container. 1. Sausages 2. Scrambled eggs 3. Potatoes or 1. Sausages/chil 2. Scrambled eggs 3. couscous or 1. sausages/onion 2. Chorizo and eggs 3. Ham and potatoes and cheese and peppers

It is a nice hotel , but what made it excellent was the help ( on various matters ) of Victor from reception !

The pool area is nice but there are effectively only 4 (lounge) chairs which is , considering the size of the hotel, not enough.

Very few restaurants open at night in the area. The window in the room only had wooden covers, no glass or mosquito net, so you either need to close your window fully (no sunlight in the room) or fully open but waste of AC and free entrance for mosquitos inside. would be great to have at least a mosquito net

Fantastic place, extremely well decorated and designed, so many nice details in interior. And very beautiful garden, it was really pleasant to stay there.

Reception work could be more professional and better. Because of the flight I needed to check out very early at 05:00, so at check in asked if can get some coffee and something light for breakfast or breakfast box. The receptionist promised that there will be coffee and some small breakfast at 05:00, but in the evening when I decided to double check this with other receptionist, he said it was not possible, but it was already late evening, so we even couldn't arrange anything ourselves, it was just too late. As well the pizzeria the receptionist suggested for delivery, was the worst in my life and I eat them a lot, at least 3 times a week. I did not now it is possible to make so bad pizzas, it seems simple food, but both pizzas were just so terrible that end up in rubbish bin.
