Family oriented location. Quiet guests with is important for my toddlers naps during the day

None of the days I stayed did the free on deman work so I was limited to one channel for my child’s viewing. Front desk told me to unplug entering and reply it in so I had to move the tv and wires but it didn’t work. No assistance was given. Also on my second day the Internet went out in my room so I had to call front desk so they could reboot it. The internet came back on after some time. Had hoped it would also fix the on deman but it didn’t. When ain’t for extra blankets and pool towels service took much too long, that could definitely be improved.

Staff were friendly and helpful, from front desk and breakfast staff to housekeepers. Room was spacious, convenient and well equipped. Location was great, on a lively main avenue with frequent city buses and a Metro stop in walking distance Only drawback was the limited number of restaurants and coffee places within easy walking distance. The free breakfast was outstanding, and they even got in gluten-free options on request. This place is really good value and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Wish I could have used the pool, but inclement weather precluded this. It was also a bit chilly in the room, and I was too cold until I asked for an extra blanket: it would have been nice If I had found one in the cupboard.

Breakfast was good, the room was extremely clean and had been recently renovated. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and I received extra pillows (there were four on each bed, and I requested four more). I have a bad back and neck, but with the added pillows (the pillows were all great because they didn't mash down too much) and the good mattress, I slept more comfortably at the Rose & Crown than I've ever slept when away from home. My husband felt the same. We were very satisfied and we will book the Rose and Crown when visiting near Pasadena again.

We were pleased with most everything given the price. Our room was a good value. The staff was very hospitable. The room was nicely renovated with a good bathroom. The mattress was comfortable and the linens were nice. The breakfast was good.

I stayed with my daughter and we each slept on a queen bed. My daughter’s bed had very squeaky springs so it was loud as my daughter tossed and turned in her sleep. We prefer to sleep with the window open, but our room faced Colorado Blvd and there was road noise so we had to opt for the air conditioning. We will request a room facing the mountains next time.

The R&C may look modest from outside, but it must have been recently renovated inside because it feels very modern and clean. The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. Nice and functional bathroom. The staff was uniformly very friendly. Unfortunately I did not have time for the fitness center or the pool. In other hotels in the same category breakfast is grab and go of a few items (like bars or muffins), but here it was a proper breakfast with a few hot choices, pancakes, bagels, cereals etc, which I was pleasantly surprised by.

It was a bit far from Pasadena's city center / old Pasadena, but I didn't mind walking; and took the metro bus once. Comes very frequently.

Friendly staff (happy to print documents at reception for me), and a nice breakfast included. There were laundry machines on site (washer and dryer), but you needed quarters to use them (there are vending machines next to the machines that can convert dollar bills to quarters).

helpful happy staff. gorgeous lady at breakfast & v helpful second young man on desk. first guy in initial 2 days not approachable, if he’s on give up asking -ain’t worth it! 2nd guy fab

pool opened far too late. we come from a tiny island in UK & swim at 7ish. as long as we keep noise down I wd like to see pool open before 9. mattress not very comfortable on one bed in our room, but shuffling it around helped

The room was very big and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom recently renovated and clean. Nice breakfast with many options (especially the waffle maker), the lady working during breakfast was really nice and helpful. Many parking spots available for free and the location is close to different attractions.

In the Booking confirmation they say they charge in advance only the first night but they charged me for the full amount. I had to call to understand what to do (a little expensive from the EU). The room itself was clean but in my opinion some "deep cleaning" in the corners wold be helpful :)

Chris was accomodating when I asked if I could have an early check-in, which I'm so thankful! The room was also so clean, the bed smelled so nice, the bathroom was clean & you can tell they take their time to clean because of the towel art they did. The fridge and microwave worked so well. Breakfast was amazing! I was so full and happy. The location is just 10 minutes away from Old Pasadena! I enjoyed my stay so much!

Only one thing: individually packing their breads. I understand it's to be safe but I feel like it's too much work on the staff and it's a waste.

The location is convenient: just a short walk to the Pasadena Convention Center and the Historic Quarter. The staff is fantastic. They are ready to solve any issue with a smile. The air conditioner keeps the room fresh, despite the external high temperatures. The smoking point is conveniently located.

Nothing to report. I had an excellent stay at this hotel.
