I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Xandari Resorts Cardamom County. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help, which made the experience even more special. The resort itself is beautiful, with bungalow-style rooms and a strong eco-friendly approach — no plastic water bottles, only sterilised and tested drinking water provided, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is also fantastic — within walking distance to local shops and activities, and just a short distance from Periyar National Park. It’s the perfect base for exploring the area. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting the region!

My family stayed here for a night and they had a memorable stay. The property is beautiful, clean, well maintained, eco-friendly vast and so much greenery everywhere that they wished they stayed for two nights! The check-in was smooth, to the warm welcome and they didn't expect to be offered tea/coffee with evening snacks. So this little extra gesture is duly appreciated. My family also had their dinner here and loved the options and quality of food. The breakfast spread was also very good. It's close proximity to the Kumily Town, Tusker's Cafe, Massage - Definite value for money. The staffs are also very friendly here.

The staff were very friendly. The grounds were swept of leaves on the paths constantly as the pool was. The food was quite good and the manager at the restaurant went beyond to accommodate us…the massage therapist I used twice was fantastic at accommodating my issues having just come out of hospital with certain restrictions for my body. We would recomended this place highly. A number of US tour operates such as Gate1 and OAT use this hotel and so it is very good.

The hotel was great and staff super friendly. Our room was very nice and spacious, and also perfectly clean. The food in the restaurant was very good and a lot to choose from. The location is also great as everything is nearby. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, which we did, thanks again to all staff 🙏🏻 We definitely recommend!

The one and only suggestion we can give is to find something that helps against the little bit of humidity in the room. Of course, we we're there in the raining season, so it might be better during summer.

Well maintained, Clean, Friendly Staff, Good food, Instant Hot water in showers and tap. Very good location to use as base camp for boating, Kalari show, Elephant rehab centre and the town itself.

WiFi didn’t work as advertised. There is good 5G coverage from Jio in the area. Some cottages are quite high up in the slope. If you have breathing issues to climb stairs, ask for something closer to ground.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the town and wildlife reserve. The staff were very friendly and helpful even making us a packed lunch as we had an early start when we left. The rooms were really good and it felt like you were actually sat in the forest. The food was some of the best we had on our whole trip and all the ingredients, herbs and spices are grown organically in their own garden

The place is very beautiful with a very calm atmosphere and very well-maintained.

The food at the hotel could have been better and it was also quite expensive, as we had to pay 2000 for a bottle of water. Moreover, on the night we stayed there, there was a wedding taking place in the hotel. Unfortunately, nobody had informed us about it beforehand, so we ended up in the middle of a very noisy wedding celebration. This was particularly unfortunate as we had planned to rest that night and wake up early the next day for a hike.

I liked the greenery, lush & awesome. The service, organised team. Exceptional service. Ambience is superb, heavenly.

Restaurant too high up for me to climb. The cobble stone pathway, as it was not senior friendly, which didn't work for me.

Very calm place surrounded by nature in its original form. Lush green around. Have lots places outside the room to mingle with nature ex.. the smaller farm they have inside.

In my view, it's certainly not value for money. Absolutely no ROOM SERVICE. They claim they have but when you order, you will need to literally go to the restaurant to pick your order. Even coffee tea takes lots of time. They clean room at their convenience. Bath consumables are second or third class. Taking 50 steps to climb to most rooms make it tiring when room service is so pathetic.
