The staff were amazing. Kind and helpful. We had heavy luggage. They carried it downstairs to our suited. It was a Huge two bedroom suite. On ground floor. Opening on to a verandah with table and six chairs for lovely al fresco breakfasts with family and friends. And coffee and delicious food from the upstairs restaurant. The pool was a delight. Crystal clear, limpid (ie sparklingly clear) water. Not too hot or cold. But just right. Lovely reception area. Good entrance for arrival by car, taxi or foot. It was a dream of a stay. I wish we could have stayed forever. We definitely plan to go back

Nothing to dislike. All was great. La Calanque has the luxury of having a huge parcel of land. Most unusual for a hotel on the Côte d'Azure. Plus right in the centre of Le Lavandou. The garden was gorgeous with pebble and the most beautiful espalier-ed trees. They would have taken perhaps 100 years to grow...

The Calanque is a beautiful 1930s hotel that has been extended over the years. It retains a marvellous old world charm with many original features. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

We would have liked room service. Breakfast is served in a dining room and there is bar at the swimming pool area. Nevertheless, we made the most of the plethora of bars and restaurants in the village.

The view from Our room was fantastic . The hotel was beautiful in the reception with the breakfast area looking onto the port. We enjoyed the pictures on the walls of family over the years at the beach. The hotel had a great vibe !

At some point may be time for small room renovations but everything is clean and nice and the rate matches . Potential is great. More parking at some point could also be helpful . We parked at the port which was an easy walk though.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the sea view room view was suburb and the location was perfect. The coffee was some of the best I've ever had!

The location, the facilities including the swimming pool, the friendly staff.

The double room was not the biggest room, but this is only a minor issue.

The view was beautiful and interesting. The pool was relaxing

The hotel bar was unmanned and lacked atmosphere

Excellent location. Superb view and large terrace, overlooking the bay. Big fridge in room. Big room. Car park reserved as requested. Lovely swimming pool. Would definitely stay here again.

No kettle in the room. Fortunately we had our own.
