The staff was extremely friendly and happy to help. The auberge is located in front of the beach and has a hot tub, which is a nice bonus. They also have a nice little space downstairs for people to hang out and its equipped with a microwave and fridge.

The auberge is located in front of the 132 highway, which can get loud at night due to trucks going above the speed limit. Beyond the staff’s control, of course!

The place really surprised - the rooms are very nice and everything looks in good condition, almost new. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom as well. The place is fist line to the river. There is a nice common area in the downstairs with a fridge and a microwave, so you can buy things from breakfast in the supermarket nearby.

The room was clean and general, however on the outside of the windows there were some spider web and spiders. They don't get in the room due the the net, so you don't feel it, unless you look, however, can clean it sometimes.

Since we live at the headwaters of the Saint Lawrence River one of our 'bucket list' trips was to visit the Gulf. We loved the location of the inn and the little town where it resided. The little store/coffee shop next door which handled the inn keeping requirements was a jewel and the restaurant two doors down was fantastic. Coffee and baked goods purchased from the shop after a walk on the beach the next morning rounded out a most enjoyable stay!

My biggest disappointment was that the cafe' (which is now the store/coffee shop) was no longer operating. I thought it looked like it would have been a rowdy place to eat!

The location is exceptional; right across of the ocean with beautiful beach. The coffee shop has excellent pastries and the staff is always helpful. The place has common areas with micro-wave, fridge and tables so you can have meals there. And the best of all; Atkin`s poissonerie is walking distance!!!

It was available for 1 night only!!!

Cleanliness and hospitality and location. All the people who are running the business are very very nice and welcoming ☺️

There is a compost bin which was smelling badly when we were standing outside the building standing on the deck or in backyard, it would be great if it can be put somewhere else little away from property.

Amazing place to stay at in the area. Simple but recently renovated and clean rooms. Cafe next door serves some food for dinner and breakfast and there is a common room downstairs.

Bed was way too soft for us unfortunately.

Beautiful location along the coast. Sparse but nicely furnished room. Good gourmet grocery store with good sandwiches and coffee on the premises.
