My room overlooked the canal and the market place, which was lovely. Breakfast was extremely generous and offered a great variety of foods, from fruit salad, yogurt and granola, to a a range of rolls, cheeses, meats and fish. Eggs are cooked to order and the coffee machine has a good range.

As an English guest who brings her own teabags I would have welcomed a jug of milk in the fridge on the landing, alongside all the beers.

Comfortable and clean with lovely welcoming staff and a good breakfast. The location is excellent right in the heart of the most wonderful and interesting town. The building is a bit creaky around the edges and that is part of its charm. There is a lovely open self service bar area on the landing which is a very nice touch.

The rooms had everything that we needed. There was even a coffee machine in the room and a kettle and coffee machine in the little „Teeküche“ in the hallway. We had a family room, which was made up of two double rooms a small room with a toilet and sink as well as a separate room with a shower and sink. This is a great idea! There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, the beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good - the breakfast area was really nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We didn‘t eat at the restaurant as we mistakenly thought that there wasn’t anything vegetarian on offer but there actually was. So we missed out on that - it would have been great to have eaten in the dining room at the back of the building. It looked like something from a castle! The restaurant also has table next to the canal with a nice view over the square.

The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and modern. We had a view of the marketsquare, it's very pretty. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't make a reservation so we couldn't eat there, but the staff pointed us in the direction of a nearby Greek restaurant where we ate very well. :)

Really friendly staff and a great family room. Good breakfast where they made eggs on order and we had one of the best burgers we ever had on a restaurant for dinner.

Excellent breakfast with the possibility to order eggs made on your request. A little kitchen at the first floor to make tea and pay for different beverage from the fridge. Coffee machine in the room.

Great location. Lovely room overlooking the main square. Free parking in front of hotel. Nice restaurant on site. Modern, clean and spacious room. I love the non-slippery slate floor in the bathroom. Every hotel should have this. Nice desk and comfortable chair in room.

I don’t walk very well, and there were an awful lot of steep steps to negotiate. As with many hotels, I really object to the plastic sheeting under the regular sheet. It makes sleeping a sweaty and uncomfortable business. Only one pillow was provided which went very flat under my head.
