The location in town was excellent, close to the water and easy walking to stores and restaurants. The beds, though twins only, were very comfortable. There was a kitchen with easy access to our room. The rooms, though smaller, had everything we needed. We could see the waterfront from our window view. We appreciated the seating in the lobby and it was quiet as at this time of year there weren’t many guests.

Communal areas didn’t seem cleaned often, but it was a holiday weekend and not many guests

The Kirkenes Hotell was perfect for our needs. The night before, we stayed at the Snowhotel and the afternoon, we had scheduled a Crab Safari so we were just looking for a place to sleep that was budget friendly. The hotel meet those needs as it was clean comfortable and close to where we needed to be. It is completely utilitarian and spar to say the least. But in our case, this was exactly what we were looking for.

It would have been nice if the coffee machine were working, but no big deal. Keep in mind that nothing in Kirkenes is open early so if you need coffee or breakfast, plan ahead

Clean and comfortable room in the center of Kirkenes, near the bus stop to the airport. Wonderful place for a short stay before departure. There is a kitchen in the hotel so you can cook the food. We liked this place!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Great location close to the shopping centre. The option to have complimentary coffee at the reception is great, anyone who likes coffee will appreciate it! The staff was very kind, helpful, they let me check in a little earlier - I am so grateful for that! They also help me to call taxi driver, who dropped me to the airport. The Chinese restaurant is also tasty and at a relatively good price. Highly recommended!

We loved the hotel’s welcoming atmosphere and its prime location, right in the heart of Kirkenes. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day, and the rooms were cozy and clean.

While the hotel was charming, the rooms were a little on the small side, especially for longer stays. Additionally, the bathroom could use some updates for a more modern feel.

The hotel is an older building but it adds to the charm. The bed is large and comfortable and the window can be opened. The restaurant downstairs has the best General Tsos chicken ive ever had! They have a dumb waiter for your luggage as there is no elevator

I would have loved to have known about the dumb waiter before I dragged my luggage up 2 flights of stairs

The room was comfortable, the staff were helpful and courteous, particularly allowing us to check in early on a cold snowy day and store luggage after checkout. Having an in house restaurant is a plus in bad weather.

Although the restaurant is within easy walking of all the rest of the town centre, it is a little tricky to find as there is no conspicuous signage.

The hotel owner is very nice. A Chinese restaurant is also managed by him. He also arranged a minibus taking us (10 people) to the airport. There is a common kitchen and washing machines. A Joker supermarket is nearby.

The building is a little bit old. The reception is not open all the time. The kitchen is not very big. There is only a small elevator for the luggage delivery.

Small cozy room perfect for single traveller. Close to the center of the town and the harbour, own bathroom, restaurant on the ground floor. Perfect for travellers with small budget.

A kettle in the room would be nice.

The receptionist was helpful, friendly and fast. The room was simple, but not small, warm, and even had a small fridge. Everything was clean.

I could hear snoring from the other room(s), and the bathroom was not pleasant.
