Unique way to check in and out! I LOVED it! I never saw a single person in an office. My room number was texted to me. The door was unlocked and the key was inside. All I had to do is drive up to my assigned room, walk in and …that’s it! My only only complaint would be internet. It was super spotty. But if you go to Naubinway, Michigan you are going for remote location, nature. Very clean rooms with no frills. Bring your own snacks, all there is for such is a gas station …’A’ gas station! Fall colors were out and it was beautiful there. I have stayed in fancier places with lots of amenities and I can say…I will definitely stay there again! I loved the check in check out process! Unique. Maintains the feeling of solitude. There is an employee around who takes care of each room if you really need someone, or you can text the owner who answers! Cool place!

Internet connection. I know I know, when you go here you are disconnecting. But I’m still a bit addicted to texting family or pulling up YouTube on my phone. TV was great! So it’s not really a big deal.

A great little motor lodge on HWY-2. Clean rooms. SUPER comfy beds. Our sleep was incredibly restful. Easy contact free check-in. The housekeeping staff were SO FRIENDLY! The nearby beaches are amazing. There are none better in Michigan. It's next to a King's Fish Market and across the street from Hiawatha Pasties. Just a ways down is Village Pizza and beer garden, and Coffee Alley. All 4 of these places fed us for 3 days in Naubinway, and we would happily eat more.

The wifi could be better. The rooms are a little dated. We wish the small rec building was open in some capacity.

Breakfast was within walking distance. Room was small, but adequate & very clean. The soaps & shampoo were fantastic! Parking was just outside of door, making it convenient. Checkin & checkout was very easy.

Although ok for us, I can see where safety would be an issue for elderly or those with reduced flexibility. The little shelf above the tiny sink was dangerously close for head to hit, & there was nothing to help prevent slip & fall in the shower. I had to be very careful. They should consider a hand rail on the shower wall, or at least something anti-slip on the tub bottom.

There were 2 rooms and 3 beds plus a futon couch. Contactless check in

Only thing I wasn't a fan of is that there were only eat in restaurants nearby but we drove 10/15 minutes an ate no biggie Also the mixed reviews with breakfast first Google review said great breakfast options so I assumed there was breakfast also well booking it said breakfast 1$ a person so that was a bit confusing but the room was great and I would definitely stay again.

The price for the room was much more reasonable than what we had seen in the larger towns. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had been updated recently. Wifi was OK

We were surprised to find the office closed and no staff on site. I don’t have data on my phone in the US so had to ask another customer to relay my questions to the proprietor. If we had arrived any later than we did (7:30pm) we may not have had a place to stay. It should be clearly stated on the web and on the booking confirmation how to check in .

Located conveniently on US2, within 1 hour of many UP attractions. Heat and AC in room. I would say this is hands down the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Grounds were nice, within walking distance of The Cove which has amazing food and cocktails with a view of Lake Michigan. I will definitely be staying here again. 11 out of 10 stars if I could.

Nothing loved everything.

Location was centrally located for activities we planned in the area. Stayed twice in 3 weeks and both times rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. Was slightly worried about noise being on main rd and an older motel but had no issues on that front. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

That you now have a refrig and microwave in the rooms the refrigerator is huge so you can have cold drinks when you want

That it takes way too long for hot water in sink outside bathroom had to run hot water in tub first for the sink to have hot water so not running water for way too long to get hot

we stayed in the family suit. we liked the teens had a door to the room from the littles. we plan to come back and hopfully get the cabin.

i don’t think i could find anything i disliked. everything was expected. i looked at reviews and pictures before my stay. everything was clean.

The cleanliness and place was really good. Beds are really comfortable all the rooms were in ground floor

Checkin was over the phone as no one stayed late at reception Heater was little slow and heater cover was coming off the wall. Rooms were small for 2 double beds
