I was very lucky with the weather - a beautiful sunlit day for a casual walk round the harbour from the ferry to the hotel; what should have taken me 30 minutes took more like 1 hour 30 minutes, there is so much temptation to stand and watch, so much to enjoy. Hammerfest is a lovely town and the people I chatted with were very welcoming. Find the Zig Zag path behind the town - steep and can be slippery in wet weather but the view is amazing - or walk up past the kirke to visit the polar bear, sit there awhile and watch the activity in the harbour and on Melkoya; on the way back down check out the stained glass and organ in the kirke and spend a few hours in the museum. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and I would happily stay again.

My hotel room was classed as a double; in my view it was perfect for one person but would have felt cramped with two. It was the cheapest one so maybe the others are larger.

Modern and clean property located by the sea. The hotel has no parking, however, there were many possibilities to park the car nearby. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with a nice shower and a very comfy bed. The breakfast is varied, but try to be there on time. There were very few options left for those guests arriving at the restaurant less than half an hour before the closing time.

Really small rooms and no wardrobe. Avoid large luggage when travelling to the Smarthotel. A bit chilly on the bedside beside the window. Other than this, there are plenty of facilities within the property.

Nice and clean hotel on an excellent location in the center of Hammerfest right by the water. Our room was small, but very comfortable with a great bed, good shower and a very nice view. We would recommend this room for couples or single travelers. The staff were always friendly and provided us with nice recommendations for a cafe and things to see. Wi-fi worked very well.

The breakfast was good, but could be improved with more variety.

The location was perfect, with an amazing view of the port 🤩 The staff was very friendly and willing to help and the room was very clean. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and had enough variety.

1. It was hard to find the hotel, because it doesn't have a sign on the street side. So we spent quite a while looking for it. 2. The room had a good size, but there was no privacy, because there were no doors between the bedroom and the living room. Also the bathroom's door was directly at the foot of the bed.

I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

I was a little unlucky with bus times to the Hurtigruten port, as one of the staff member told me there's a bus going every half hour, but actually when I needed the bus it only went once every hour, so I ended up getting a taxi - not a big deal. Didn't seem to get BBC to work on the TV but no big problem, so I didn't bother asking.

Room was clean, hotel is in the centre of Hammerfest, breakfast was good enough (small selection but it was good) and staff was really friendly.

We were 4 people in 1room (3 adults, 1 small child with 1double bed and 1 double sofabed) and still had only 3 sets of towels for the 4 of us. No hotel parking but through easypark was able to park right outside of hotel(20meter walk) for 10€/15hrs.

One of the main attractions of Hammerfest is the harbour, and this hotel was located in that area. We had a spacious studio type of room with two huge windows facing the harbour and the sea. Always something to watch! The beds were comfortable. We were visiting around midsummer when the sun doesn't set, but it was easy to block the light with curtains.

A sliding door to the bathroom was my least favourite, but this was a minor thing.

Central location, good breakfast, clean rooms, quiet, possibility to do laundry for free, helpful and friendly staff. There are pleanty of shops and restaurants nearby and all attractios are within a walking distance.

Rooms are small, but comfortable if you are travelling alone or as a couple.

I was able to check into the room around midnight. The person that checked me in was very friendly and explained about the hot water that was available at the reception. The room was small but looked very nice and had everything you need. The view was nice from the bedroom. The breakfast was good.

I only stayed in the room for a short night, so I didn't see anything that I didn't like.

Overall OK. Hotel looks new and modern. Its located near the sea. Breakfast was ok. Parking is possible on public parking spots on the street.

It would be nice if hotel would have some markings on its street side. It could be tricky to find it, despite being a big building.
