The hotel is super nice clean and very close to the kintex exhibition it is very pet friendly ( I choose this hotel because I have my 2 furry babies with me ) the west wing offers also a dog cafe beauty boarding anything you need for you and your pet ! In the room which are very very nice you will get a very nice sett for your dog Overall I good experience I will be back !

The staff could not speak a fluent English at the reception and nobody is able to suggest you places to go if you are visiting there is no concierge service in a way that you can ask for addresses and places to go which is a pity and you have to find yourself ….

Breakfast is good, many options. The soap shampoo are very nice. The overall cleanliness are above quaity.

We have specifically told the front desk we didn't have enough cash to pay for taxi fee to the airport on the day before we went to the airport. And hotel said we could pay by credit card. But on that day the front desk lady didn't aware the car has arrived, and when we arrived the airport, the driver said he only accept cash. In the end, we all cleaned up our pocket to find just the right amount to the driver. We have emphasized 3 times in total that we didn't have enough cash, but this still happened. I think the communication between guests-hotel-taxi service were terrible.

Awesome hotel with top level service. The location is perfect if you’re going to a concert at Goyang Stadium (walking distance). Starbucks downstairs was a nice bonus. Room service is great, and all the necessary amenities are provided in big spacious rooms. The pillows and bed are super comfy.

The air conditioner mode could not be adjusted manually from cooling to heating, but it was not an issue, as the room temperature was mostly comfortable during our stay.

I love to stay at Sono Calm Goyang. It was lovely stay. Hotel room is big and bed is comfortable. Breakfast was awesome!! Staffs are so friendly and helpful. just that the location is a bit isolated. We used Taxi to go anywhere. Behind of hotel there are 2 convenient stores and a few restaurants. Overall we are very satisfied with staying at this hotel. There is no coin Laundry in the hotel. There is Airport shuttle bus but only operate certain timing.

Everything! In fact we didn't get to explore the hotel much including the Starbucks and the cafe at the lobby. There were bakery and convenient stores right at the back so it was super convenient. Kintex was just a breeze 10mins walk. Reception and housekeeping were super helpful and especially the lady who attended to us during check in - no communication issues at all (she spoke very good English). For some reasons our room was hot and thank goodness they were flexible - they offered us a electric fan!

Early check in request. I sincerely hope the hotel would reconsider your current rate of the extra charges for early check in...especially if guests had been travelling from another country via flight and it was from previous night. The practice was not helpful and we had to wait till the exact check in time at 3pm kst. And, check out at 11am kst which is an hour earlier than usual/regular check out time. The Chinese restaurant was good, but service was a little choppy (we went in late lunch, and chinese tea was not left with the teapot at our table). The servers were not visibly seen too.

The location and hotel vibe is very comfortable and safe feeling.

The pool is paid facility even to those who are guest at the hotel and very expensive fees. The breakfast is very expensive compared to options provided, where they are 80% korean food. The concierge need more training. Lastly, the interior design of the rooms is like a motel, very average design. Not compared to the lobby and overall hotel design.

Everything else was great though. The facilities are clean and organized, staff is friendly and speaks English too if need be (I had no need for it but noticed them speaking English quite fluently to other foreign customers). And they also offer a variety of services, none which we had any use for that is, but great that they exist. Some include a pet caretaking shop, a variety of stores out the back door, a restaurant in the 2nd floor of the west tower, and a whole host of other features. We'll be coming back again in the future to get to use said features and facilities, or at least some of them.

Even though there are clear rules against smoking in the rooms, some people just don't care and smoke anyways, as there seems to be no countermeasures in place at all. The cigarette smoke travels through ventilation into the rooms next to them, and thus we we're unfortunate enough to have our room smell like 2nd hand cigarette smoke for a significant portion of the night, twice. The only thing that helps there, is to turn on the Air-condition and hope for the best. For someone who booked a non-smoking room precisely because of my sensitivity to cigarette smoke, I was certainly disappointed that there's no countermeasures and disincentives in place to prevent such a commonly enforced & basic rule. Hell, it should be common human decency, but apparently that flies beyond some heads.

the rooms didn't have toothbrushes and toothpastes which is very inconvenient. also, the absence of clothes iron was unfortunate

The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of tasty buffet food. Location was ideal for the sports stadium. Plenty of restaurants and a bar close to hotel. All in all a very good stay.

Parking was not free.
