We loved our stay at this hotel. You need to drive up the mountain, so it’s not for everyone, but if you want a beautiful resort type hotel in the mountain with an amazing view.. go there! After the beach, we always went to the pool to watch the sunset and have drinks. It was gorgeous! Very clean and nice pool and you see the stromboli. The breakfast was great, with a view of the pool and the mountain. The room was large enough but the shower cabin was a bit small(whatever not a big deal). Our friends has a smaller room but bigger shower.. We ate at the owner’s restaurant which is a few minutes walk from the hotel and very good. It’s super convenient if you do not want to drive down to Tropea at night. There were several nice restaurants in the area as well, if you want to change it up. The family that owns this place is very nice. They told us which beach to go to, found us a ride to Tropea one night and even drove our friends to the train the last day! Overall we loved this place.

The hotel complex was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice balconies or terraces. The breakfast area by the pool was lovely as was the pool itself with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. The breakfast selection was excellent with the typical Italian breakfast fare - excellent pastries, fruit, juices and cappuccini.The owners are two brothers Pasquale and Mario who are both perfect hosts and very welcoming. They are assisted by their sons and other family members who are equally charming and welcoming. Overall they are a beautiful family. We also had supper one evening at their restaurant which is just down the road and it was the best meal we had while in Calabria. All in all we had a memorable stay. I have no hesitation in recommending Cosmo San Borgo. I plan to go back.

The roads leading up to the complex were narrow and winding in some spots but this is common in this area. We are used to driving in Italy so it was not a major issue for us.

- Amazing customer service, going above and beyond, super friendly. They even let us stay a bit longer in the pool after check-out as we were waiting for our flight, highly appreciated! - Very good breakfast. Sure its rather simple and very Italian, but quality of everything that has been served was amazing! - POOL has been simply awesome. Amazing sunsets, super relaxing, very clean. It even had air-jets! - Very clean room - Location is very relaxing and scenic, no doubt about that. It requires however a bit of logistics when it comes to grocery shopping and food. Thankfully there are 2 restaurants nearby (10 minutes walk) which allows you to have a very nice lunch/dinner. I can recommend both of them (one is owned by the same people who run this hotel)

The only small complain I would have was the fridge. It wasn't very powerful and it was taking long time to properly cool some water and drinks. It may be due to the fact that you need card to run electricity, so when you are out of the apartment there is none hence fridge may have not been working at the time. Also I have not found any glass in the room, would be good to have one or two

Everything was perfect! The staff were so lovely! You can feel that it's a family-owned business from the way they greet you to how they remember your coffee order every morning! Their restaurant is so good as well, and especially their own wine at the restaurant. They gave us a lot of recommendations, and there are super good restaurants nearby. Can honestly not recommend enough! There were always enough chairs by the pool and the view is just stunning!!

That we didnt have more time!

Everything was great, all the stuff around was very nice and helpful, we spend wonderful holidays. Clean rooms with daily cleaning, towels exchanged every two days and bedding after 4 days. Nice pool, breakfast with some choice but day by day same things. Fresh coffee or tea. If you want to go to Tropea or some nice beaches you need a car but it will take you 10mins to get there.

Generally all was good, what I could suggest as improvement would be giving some glasses or cups into room, maybe even wine glasses, not saying about electric kettle or some small coffee machine, as bar is open only on specific hours.

A huge estate on a hill above the charming town of Tropea, far from the city hustle and bustle, yet conveniently close, reachable by a 10 minutes drive. The sea view (enjoyed by all guests) and breathtaking sunsets with a glass of wine or beer leave you in awe. Every estate detail is meticulously taken care of, and cleanliness is impeccable. Parking spaces are well-organized, allowing each guest to park close to their room. The pool is sufficiently large for leisure and serious swimming, for those who enjoy it. Guests can also enjoy the pool until late in the evening, a feature not commonly found elsewhere. Within a 20-30 minutes drive from the property, there are more than 10 beautiful beaches, eliminating the need to go elsewhere. Mario, as well as all the staff at the property, are extremely kind and always at your service.

The breakfast is good, but it could be a bit more diverse, considering the guests who are planning a longer stay at the property. It wouldn't hurt to improve English language skills for easier communication with guests who do not come from Italy, which applies not only to the property but also to the entire region, thus attracting more foreign guests. I mentioned these two things more as suggestions rather than major complaints.

What a view! The hotel is located on the mountain so having a car is essential and this is Italy keep in mind the roads are small and your going to have to zigzag and the only lights at night are the stars and your car. :) Being that the location is up high, the view is incredible - the pool area over looks the garden area giving you a perfect sunset. We would spend our day in tropea and end our day at the pool having a few drinks and watching the sunset. The pool is perfection! Breakfast was great as well, classic. This is a family run hotel and it shows, everyone is super helpful. They would give us suggestions of beaches, help us out if we had any general questions, like how the train works, where to eat, etc. They helped us get to town at night instead of calling a taxi, the owners son also drove us to the train station and didn’t even want to accept anything from us just that one day we would go back. The owner also owns a great restaurant walking distance - absolutely delicious!! Great family, they really make the place special. Rooms are what we were expecting, we had a large bathroom although not all the rooms have the same layout perhaps if we require a larger room or larger shower to email them so they can put you in a room that works best for you. :) Love this place, maybe one day I’ll be back and Tropea and can experience it again!

The resort is quite and green with big pool and airconditioned rooms. It is professionaly managed. Not far from beautifull beaches and Tropea sightseeings but far enough to enjoy privacy.

The pool in the middle of olive trees and the view are amazing. Very clean. Good breakfast. Great restaurants nearby.

Some rooms could be updated, but there is a part of the hotel that is probably more recent.

Such a beautiful tranquil place, with lovely well-maintained grounds and an exceptional pool area which quite often we had to ourselves for periods during the day. The owners and staff are extremely warm and friendly and we ate each night at their fantastic restaurant just down the road. The room we had was huge, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Brattirò itself is around ten minutes away on foot and we loved visiting for a few Spritz in the evening. We loved our short stay and plan to return next year.
