We had such a wonderful stay at Ambeli Apartments, and it was especially memorable for our daughter, who absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was amazing. Sophia and Maria were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Sophia even baked a fresh cake for our daughter every day, which was such a sweet and personal touch. On the night we arrived late, she also prepared dinner for us—something we truly appreciated after a long day of travel. The apartment itself was spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh sheets provided every day. The amenities were fantastic, breakfast was awesome and continental style, the pool and jacuzzi were both well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and super responsive whenever we needed anything. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with a beach within walking distance. It's a convenient spot overall, but having a car made it even easier to explore the island. Honestly, we had no complaints at all. Everything was perfect—from the hospitality to the comfort and the surroundings. We’d absolutely love to come back and would highly recommend Ambeli Apartments to anyone visiting Santorini!

Spiros at the front desk was very friendly and kind and took the time to explain things to me. The apartments were well-equipped, spacious and with a great layout so you had privacy but could also chat to people if you wanted to. The seats on the porch were comfortable and great to overlook the pool. There was a coffee machine with tea/coffee provided. Great shower-powerful and warm. The pool was cool and very clean with lovely comfortable sun loungers-some with shading if you want it. So relaxing. Very handy location- close to bus stops/mini mart/beach/restaurants all within a short walking distance.

The bed could be more comfortable, it was a little firm for me. The wardrobe behind the door was a bit awkward in the bedroom to open. I felt safe in the accomodation but felt I needed to close the shutters completely if going out as the windows alone were not very strong. The road at night is not very well lit and busy with traffic driving fast so you have to be very careful walking along this to the strip. The TV only had 2-3 channels and no chance to connect to anything else.

We have the best stay here. This place is unbelievable. At the beginning Maria welcomed us with cold drinks and some snacks after our journey, she told us a little about Santorini and give us some instructions where to eat and what is worth to see, it was very nice. The apartment was very clean and cosy, beds were soo comfortable. Everyday the room was smelling soo good. Later we met Sofia, she's soo amazing, warm and kind, this woman has golden heart. Everyday she brings us homemade delicious cake. One day she invited us for cooking together, she told us about Santorini, food, we had a great time together. These memories will stay with us for a long time. Both Maria and Sofia are always ready to help. The place is very good located, near the beach, there is local shop near the apartments, where you can buy almost everything you need. The place is very beautiful, like from the postcards, white buildings, green doors, nice pool and jacuzzi, very delicious breakfast, but Maria and Sofia make our stay even more unique I can't express how grateful for them I am, they are heart of this place. I hope we'll come back here. Thank you again

Friendly and extremely helpful staff who has helped us to organise transfer, car rental, takeaway in the evening when we didn’t want to go out for dinner after a long day out with a toddler, restaurant recommendation and booking, etc. Our apartment is right by the pool so we can still relax after the toddler gone to bed and still feel safe. Short walk to the beach which we have enjoyed most days. Sophia also has organised cooking/get together for both Sundays we were there for all the guests and it was such a lovely family vibe atmosphere.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Maria-Flora and Sofia were exceptional. They really looked after us very well. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and tasty with great variety of food options. The rooms were cleaned everyday and my kids loved spending time in the swimming pool. The location is brilliant with a mini market and bus stop within 3 minutes walk and easy access to beach and food places. Sofia served us delicious crepes which my kids loved a lot. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this place. We would love to come again and stay here in the future.

Where to start. We didn’t expect much, but this place, especially the 2 amazing women who made this place memorable! Big shoutout to Maria and Sofia! Without them this place will be just and ordinary accommodation. They are such a pure souls full of smiles and positive energy. Carrying about every single guest. Bringing people together. Giving them memories for life time ❤️ They made us feel so welcome from the first minute and we’ll never be thankful enough for it ❤️ also thank you our lovely chef Pavlina (hope i spell it right, if not im sorry)! Always making sure we have enough of everything! Apartment is cozy, bed comfortable. Nice and clean pool and jacuzzi. I have nothing negative to say! I will recommend it 1000x! We had an amazing stay at Ambeli Apartments. The hospitality was absolutely top-notch! The place is quiet, beautifully maintained, with a lovely pool and jacuzzi that made our time even more relaxing. The food was delicious, and the breakfast offered loads of variety—something to enjoy every morning. A special mention goes to Sofia and the young host Maria, who truly made our stay unforgettable. Upon our arrival—well before check-in time—Maria warmly welcomed us with freshly made orange juice and coffee. She then sat with us, map in hand, and shared the fascinating story of Santorini, highlighting the most beautiful spots to explore. Her tips about parking, local taverns, and shops were spot on and incredibly helpful. Throughout our stay, both Sofia and Maria went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. If Santorini, then definitely Ambeli Apartments —a perfect choice for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and an unforgettable experience.

Our apartment was no. 5 We felt like we had the best apartment. It was on the 1st floor, so we had fabulous views of the sea and surrounding area. On our terrace, we had our own private hot tub, shaded swing beds, and table and chairs. It was so relaxing. The apartment was clean, infact it was cleaned daily, and the towels changed too. The breakfast was perfect for us. There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk. The beach and restaurants/bars are literally 10 minutes max walk. The managers Sophia and Maria are so lovely. They work really hard to ensure that everyone has the best time. Sofia organised our scooter hire and she also makes lovely cakes which she gifts to the residents on arrival with a welcome glass of local wine. We also had other gifts during our stay which made us feel very special and looked after 😁

I stayed for 3 nights in July, with my older teenage son and daughter, marking the end of a trip including Athens and Mykonos; we wanted somewhere peaceful to relax and enjoy the sun. The rooms were very comfortable (good air con in the main bedroom), clean and the pool was exceptional, with towels provided. The kitchenette was well-stocked and the coffee machine worked a treat. The maintenance of everything was very high. There is a lockable safe in the room. There was an excellent breakfast provided (at the Reception) and Maria-Flora/Sofia could not have been more hospitable and helpful. Sofia’s afternoon, poolside freshly-baked cakes were a real highlight as was the advice for things to do in the area. We spent a fair bit of time by the pool although it was just a 10min walk to the beach where we found an excellent range of restaurants for our evening meals. There are lots of watersports on offer at Perivolos and, if we had stayed longer we would have looked into doing. We arrived by ferry from Mykonos and got a taxi to the apartments (40€ is the standard for this) - we could have got a bus but it was extremely hot and with our bags etc. We hired a car for our last 1 1/2 days which worked well (Santorini car hire) - they brought the car to Ambeli apartments and we delivered back at the airport. This saved us money on the airport taxi and meant we could explore the island (Oia, Fira and Emporio village - the last one being our favourite as less touristy)

There was an occasional slight odour of sulphur outside but it was not clear if this was linked to the property or elsewhere as it was very windy, so difficult to say. Only I noticed it so it may just have been my over-sensitive senses!

We spent a fantastic time in these apartments as a group – both guys and girls – and we all agree: this place is truly special. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with incredible warmth and kindness – not just as guests, but truly like family. Every morning we were treated to a delicious, varied homemade breakfast, and on top of that – daily surprises from the lovely hosts: cakes, fresh fruit, or other treats, always prepared with care and heart. These small gestures made a big difference. The pool was large, clean, and well-maintained, surrounded by comfortable loungers that made it hard to leave. One of the biggest pluses was that we could use the pool until 9:00 PM, which was perfect given the high temperatures. The jacuzzi was also spotless and relaxing – ideal for unwinding in the evening. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and cozy, thoughtfully decorated with attention to every detail. It’s clear that everything here is done with love and pride. The day before we left, the hosts gave us handmade keyrings – such a touching gesture that made us feel even more at home. Maria and Sofia are absolutely wonderful – we all fell in love with them from day one. Their kindness, smiles, and warm energy created an unforgettable atmosphere. Our only regret is that the stay was too short… But if we get the chance, we will definitely come back! We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine hospitality, peace, and a true sense of home away from home.
