Breakfast was good. Coffee came from a machine that ground the beans before brewing so it was fresh. Great location within a walking distance from the historical centre of Ventspils. Good parking availability. Great pizzeria downstairs. A very good value for money.

The bed was quite hard and the pillow small as were also the bedsheets. There was quite strong smell of cleaning agent (I guess) in the room and the ventilation was not very good, needed to keep the window open for most of the time, which was still ok for September. The elevator was not working, but for me that was not a big problem.

The room was very clean and new and well equipped. The hotel's location was good - the city centre was easy to reach, and the hotel was easy to reach by car. Easy parking availability was a good thing too.

The building didn't give the best first impression from the outside, but on the inside everything was in order! Not the greatest variety on the breakfast but it was still alright.

In general it was clean, had fridge, TV, extra pillow and blankets. Breakfast was good, lot of choices. Basically I already saw on the pictures what te room looks like, so not high expectations and no bad surprises.

There was mould in bathroom, so would be good to make some fixes.also one evening there was impossible to get hot water.

I was traveling on a very tight budget and loved the room rate. I liked that all the rooms had very large windows that being on the top floor, I could open both windows wide. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The shower was excellent. The room was clean as was the bedding. Was surprised at how fast and quiet the elevator was, really! Plus a pizza takeaway on the same premises and an electric mobility hire shop too. Overlooked a huge park area, everywhere in this town, a feast of ornamental flower displays, not a green space left unattended.

Given the low room rate and especially now with the energy crisis, I appreciate that there is no tea or coffee making facilities or a kettle, had I known this prior, I could have brought a small travel element and some coffee with me. No restuarant, ,cafe or bar on site and the vast open reception area with the only chance of a drink a chiller cabinet for cold soft drinks.

The location with the nice fountains & parks nearby. Easy to get to our room & the key made it easy for us without troublesome security access.

Supermarket staff nearby, there attitude towards customers.

Location is good. 24h convenience store right close to the hotel. Delicious breakfast

Stayed on the 3rd floor and asked for WiFi password, in reply from reception got invitation to go down and grab small piece of paper with trivial password on it, instead of telling me it right by the phone.

We were later than check-in time started, nevertheless we had to wait for the room clean up. The bathroom door was very squeeky - hard to go to the toilet at night without waking each other up, I hope it is easy to fix.

Lack of air conditioning, which makes the guests keep the windows open on a warm summer night, hence all the street noises come in. On an early Sunday morning (around 7:00 am?) a loud garbage truck woke us up.
