Very clean hostel. The open kitchen was for everyone to use and was always maintained clean. Bunk beds were comfy and 2 storage for personal items (by the bed) and luggages (near the room) were great! Very close to Panagsama beach so it is easy to go there after a day of activities and the hostel provide a free shuttle service if you're too tired to walk. Shower and toilet area were clean, with good water pressure and have toiletries. All staff were kind and friendly.

The luggage storage area outside the room was behind an aircon for the room which release hot air so it was very hot when getting your stuff out from there. Not convenient to get your things after a shower.

They have free shuttle all day long to the beach and to the main city. The staff is amazing. Always super polite, friendly and helpful. I haven’t had that in other hostels. Everything is very clean. You see all day long someone cleaning. They really take care of the hostel. Nice shared areas like the kitchen.

There is a room for 6 people. Is. A bit to small. We got into this and the lockers were outside which was not so comfortable. Anyway there are other rooms with 4 or less beds and we had a great time there.

One of the best hostels we've stayed in, for the price you couldn't ask for more! The staff are so friendly and the facilities are kept immaculate. We loved that they offer free shuttles down to the beach, and their activities are very reasonable and really good. It's located opposite a fantastic cafe, and has a really nice rooftop area to relax on with its own little bar. The vibes are very relaxed, definitely not a party hostel which was perfect for us. If you're staying on Moalboal, I really would reccomend staying here. We wish every hostel was like this.

Staying at Pig Dive Hostel was an absolute delight! Their facilities are top-notch—everything was so comfy, homie, and impeccably clean. It’s rare to find a place that feels this cozy and welcoming, and they nailed it! The customer service? 100/10! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and I genuinely appreciated their warmth and attentiveness throughout my stay. I left with nothing but positive memories and can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend Pig Dive Hostel to anyone looking for a fantastic, worry-free stay. If you’re considering it, trust me—it’s worth it!

Fun design with the shipping containers! Dorms were very clean and the showers were decent. Staff were lovely and you can book a few tours through them too. Place is about a leisurely 15min+ walk to the beach but the hostel offers regular transport

While the beds are a decent size the dorms are a little cramped. Lockers are outside the dorms but you do have a little safe next to your bed. Showers are separate to the sleeping quarters. But none of these things really detract from the overall experience. I would still recommend staying here.

Far enough out of town to be quiet at night, close enough to restaurants. Also appreciate the hourly shuttle to the beach. Nice outdoor spaces, the rooftop is a great place to kick back after the day!

Hourly shuttles at scheduled times can make it hard to get to/from scheduled activities in town (ex: diving) if they don't line up with the schedule (you might need to rent a scooter or take a tuktuk). Also the kitchen area is extremely basic (very small fridge).

Well priced breakfast, lots of fruit available. Very quick to order and receive the food. Hostel was incredibly clean. Shuttle service was very convenient. Staff were very helpful when I asked how to get the bus back to Cebu City. Dorms were well air-conditioned and although small were still very private and comfy. Bedside locker was massive and fit all my things although my bag went in the big locker outside. Very quiet and relaxing.

One staff member tried to convince me I needed a private car although I later found out it was easy to get the bus. Tours through the hostel were more expensive than those we found on offer in the town.

The staff were amazing! Jeleen and Carl were so kind and helpful throughout the whole stay. The property was clean and comfortable, with a nice shared kitchen and good water pressure in the showers. The room was pretty cramped, but had strong AC and there was lots of open space to chill outside. The beds had lots of space and good privacy curtains.

It was not a social hostel at all. It would be nice if there were events or other things to encourage guests to socialize, since it was pretty lonely as a solo traveler here. Also, as mentioned, the 6 bed dorm was pretty cramped. There wasn’t anywhere in the room to put bags, so they had to be kept in lockers outside.

Cleanest bathrooms of any hostel I have ever been to. Pretty sure they cleaned them 3x a day or more! Also they have a free shuttle every hour to and from the main part of town so it helps with the fact that the hostel is a little far from most things. There are 2 bakery shops next to the hostel (1 cheap and local 1 touristy and expensive).

Not having free coffee sucked. The distance from town wasn’t ideal but like I said, the free shuttle made up for this in a huge way!

Everything was incredible. Though we aren’t usually the biggest hostel people this place was so highly rated and affordable for the area that we went for it and i’m so glad we did. There were so many great perks like the free shuttle every hour to the beach, the amazing restobar with amazing breakfast and dinner and the complimentary beach towels and water. The beds were soooo comfy and soft. Above all the best part was the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make sure their guests are having a good time, You can easily message the hostel on Whatsapp for any questions and they are super quick to respond and always with a smile.
