Decent business hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Shower was roasting and powerful. located about half way between the jetty and the airport. Nice, casual dining area around the swimming pool, open until 11pm. Food was good and very reasonably priced.

Reception was a little stern, but efficient, very little information forthcoming. Don't buy alcohol here, at 12 euros per bottle of beer you'll fall out of your seat.

The breakfast, location and quality of the rooms were fine.

Staff here are great. Ever so helpful. It’s the best and most comfortable hotel in Tarakan, but the staff are its greatest asset

Location not great, but unavoidable

Not a really nice city. But pleasant people Fairly basic.

Not their fault but a complete lack of tourist money changers. Also because a Ramadan there were few restaurants available serving beer

- location in the city - nearby airport - friendly staff - good breakfast

- it could be cleaner - the beer was too expensive (large bintang more than 11 dollars/euro’s)

My room had a bad AC.. slow respon from technician, i must called FO twice to call the technician and i wait for 1 hour at 9pm..

Junior Suite - the room was tired and dated - the room was infested by small insects due to poor cleanliness - but mainly, the room only had 'single-glazed' windows (with no secondary sound-proofing) - the hotel is opposite a mosque whose mega-phones blast out morning prayers at 4.30am that is so loud you cannot hold a conversation in the room !! - the staff response to this issue was "you should have known this before booking !!" - also, the pool is dirty and lacking maintenance (closed without notice) - also the food is disgusting (the restaurant was empty) - also the location feels threatening and grubby
