Our recent stay at The Royal Senchi was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding customer service that set the tone for a truly relaxing vacation. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Volta River, lush greenery, and a serene ambiance that makes it the perfect getaway. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a treat, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. There was never a dull moment, thanks to the wide range of activities available. We especially loved the boat trip to the dam—an absolute must-do! Just a little tip: bring your own drinks for the ride to make it even more enjoyable. Overall, The Royal Senchi exceeded our expectations, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and top-tier hospitality in Ghana, this is the place to be! We will definitely be back.

If I had to mention one very minor suggestion, it would be to have a TV in one of the main bars in addition to the sports bar which on the other side of the resort. But honestly, this was such a small thing in what was otherwise a flawless experience.

The Royal Senchi is a well thought-out resort facility and all the elements were well brought together. The greenery and the water front features were great and very well maintained. You can truly relax and do productive work at the same time.

The drive from Accra can be unpredictable and tiresome due to traffic, but this is beyond the resort's control. Perhaps, they can explore a speed boat transportation option on the river channels, if possible.

The resort is located at the Volta River. You can rent kayaks or go on boat rides which I both highly recommend. It has beautiful rooms with terrace to the river, very nice designed with separated bath area and bathtub. I really liked the design of the resort, you feel relaxed the minute you get there.

I think for the size of the resort, the pool could be bigger. Also, the food at the pool bar took very long to come.

We enjoyed a recent stay at the Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort with the kids. The boat ride along the river was a lovely experience, and the pool area, complete with umbrellas and towels, was just right for a sunny day. The rooms were comfortable as well.

If I had one small tip, it’d be to bring a book—sometimes the service can take a leisurely pace, but hey, more time to relax!

Royal Senchi is the place to be if you really want to get out from the pressure from Accra, their staff were so welcoming especially Cyril. Breakfast had so much variety especially their freshly fried Tilapia from the Volta lake, the biggest man made lake in the world, cant wait to visit again. Thank you Royal Senchi for making my stay with you an enjoyable one.

Food was tasty and varied. The grilled tilapia was very nice. Great facilities for kids to play.

Food and drinks took a very long time to arrive. Often we pre-ordered from the menu for lunch and dinner and still had to wait an hour for food. Several lightbulbs in the room were not working

Open and clean .. what stood out was the driving range and tennis court. This was a deal breaker for me. Loved the nature hike across the river, and the kayaking. The picnic area was added plus. The room beautiful.. Everything was great food exceptional!!! I could go on. Staff Richard was very knowledgeable and took care of us every step of the way.

Incredible place with excellence at all levels. Everything was exceptional. The service, facilities, food, location, room. The reception staff were very accommodating - would love a few more relaxed, welcoming smiles. The restaurant catered extremely well for my son's food allergies and he enjoyed his delicious meals. Loved the sports bar and seating from the viewing platform overlooking the tennis courts and grounds. Will definitely be going time again and plan to stay longer next time. There was a fabulous boat trip on the river accessible from the resort. The grounds, pool and rooms were extremely clean and well kept. The lovely, courteous welcome from the hotel manager. Just Brilliant!

The odd spider in the room. My room looked out to workmen building a roof almost spoilt the view and tranquility of the river.

I loveeeee the architecture and decor; it’s representation of Ghanaian modernity that I admire and love. It was an excellent interpretation of our historical housing. It’s fabulous. I loved the fact that I could walk the massive property, different activities like the boat ride and golfing. I loved the bath tub and taking a bubble bath while watching my shows. That were my most memorable parts.

It’s very pricey. You pay extra for room service and take away which is a bit off putting. There were little flies that were annoying. Food was just ok.

Really there’s nothing not too like! Beautiful place in an amazing setting that we found so peaceful, just what we wanted. The staff too were very warm and helpful. Special thanks to Mr Bernard the manager, ms Ejiwa the assistant manager and Racheal in the restaurant

Nothing really, one recommendation though. There needs to be an outside shower near the pool so that folks don’t just come into the beautiful pool without being reminded to shower.
