Water view of the lake from the room and closeness to everything on the property. Very quaint. Loved the pool by the lake, outdoor seating areas, dock and outdoor games to play. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and conveniently located. Loved coffee in the morning on the dock! Love how pretty much the entire Lac Mègantic area supports the dark-sky movement, which is protective of the night sky as a resource and reduces light pollution. Best of all, the chalets are dog friendly!

Be nice to see the Auberge support the area more as a dark sky friendly destination. Outdoor lighting at the facility could use improvement. Flood lights pointing up at the entrance are blinding when entering the property almost to the point it is dangerous (consider smaller, shielded units that aim down) and the string lights hung from the front soffit of the building shine light into the chalets all night long, even with the blackout curtains fully closed. We were allocated a quiet room as we requested. We arrived to find a crackling fire playing on the TV. The room was well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, toaster oven, heater/cooler, overhead fan and TV. The bed was comfortable. We loved the location beside the lake and had a nice dinner at the on site restaurant. Recommended!

The TV was difficult to operate and the instructions weren't as helpful as they could have been. The room was a bit stuffy before we worked out how to turn the fan on.

The place is amazing, I loved the view and the kids loved to play with the kayaks and paddle boards. It's 3 minutes by car to downtown. And they also accept pets

Not a real complaint, more like an advice... We booked the "Queen room" with 1 bed + sofa- bed. It was a little small for 4 people + dog to spend a whole week. And the sofa-bed wasn't the most comfortable, the "kids" (20/15yo) complained a little. Next time we will book a 2-bed room

We went during a bit of an off season was quiet and relaxing. We stayed in one of the rooms equipped with a kitchenette. Had everything you need.

When we arrived there was a wine glass still with wine in it sitting beside the tub from the previous person to stay there.

When we arrived we decided to switch to a 2 BR chalet for about the same price a 2 separate BRs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent; clean and well kept. I recommend this property.

the restaurant being closed. it was very inconvenient to have to either drive to eat out or/and shop for food.

Restaurant was overbooked and we couldn't reserve a dinner due to the staff shortage, as they explained. We found food about 3 km away only

didn't have my Booking.com reservation in their system, even though I had a Booking.com reservation code. didn't have room I booked, but luckily they had other rooms available.

Everything was superb, we stayed 2nights in double family room: extremely clean, comfortable, room fully equipped, amazing view... no complaints. We'll be back soon

The view, the size of the room, all the kitchen stuff available, all the chairs and all outside.

We had a few smokers as neighboors and they were all smoking right at their rooms' door which were close to our room door, this should not be allowed.
