A stunning hotel on the sublime island of Ponza. Views of the sea from the bedroom and breakfast terrace made this place particularly noteworthy. The staff were warm and helpful.

No iron, which made the trip quite difficult (especially because we had a few formal events to attend). The alternative given by the hotel (Splash, the laundromat service nearby) was not able to iron our clothes in time. The breakfast was very simple — not particularly delicious or diverse.

This is the perfect small family run hotel in a charming location! With the sea on three sides, you could hear the waves lapping as you lay in bed and the breakfast/dining area was a covered deck over the sea. Breakfast itself was very Neapolitan: lots of cake but also fruit, cereals etc. As for the staff, they were also charming, the friendlest and most helpful I've ever encountered.

The rooms are definitely small, though simple and pleasant. The bathrooms are a squeeze. No other downsides.

The location was excellent; close to all the activities, restaurants, and beautiful views. The staff was so friendly and helpful; giving us ideas on what to see and to make the most of our stay. The restaurant was in a beautiful location ND the food was delicious.

Room was nice, but the shower was extremely small.

Fabulous location with a beautiful large room overlooking the sea and the bay of Ponza. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and stay here

Nothing could have been better

Location, cleanliness and staff.

We were put in a room around the side of the hotel which only got the sun for an hour in the morning and was in the shade for the rest of the day. Empty rooms at the front of the hotel seemed to be reseaverd for the managements yachty set. Real shame as the staff were wonderful.

Excellent location. Beautiful and clean structure. Very nice restaurant with a great terrace directly over the sea.

Breakfast could be improved, no fresh items besides some fruit.

Excellent waterfront hotel! Not my first vist... not my last.

Everything about Gennarina a Mare was perfect. It exceeded all expectations and I could not recommend the hotel and Ponza more.

Room was very clean, air-conditioned and had a big balcony overlooking the port.
