The View, the pool, and room was top star. Good quality linen, towels, etc. Transfer included from Airport and back helps. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. You won't be sorry if you book here for a stay on the west side of Mafia! Evening meals were very, very good.

Nothing really not to like, communication with staff was a bit challenging (hence a few misunderstandings) as English not spoken by all, but they are super friendly, helpful and very polite. Ali is there to help with communication and organise ANYTHING you need. Make sure breakfast order is understood when ordering.

This has to be the best place on Mafia island. Set apart from town, on a bluff with a commanding view of the sea, and the sunset, three very stylish - and huge - rooms, large infinity pool, great food, superb manager in Ali and his excellent assistant Salama. Mafia is great - a paradise Indian Ocean island just open enough to be accessible and for everything to be easy to arrange - but it feels like the big tourist rush is yet to arrive. And Kilekeni, a short hop from town, the airport or the busier east coast, is one of its most serene and supremely relaxing spots.

The location such a beautiful place near the beach every thing was fantastic the rooms luxury very clean I love it the food all was fantastic. A beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the coast with a lovely infinity pool makes Kileleni a perfect spot to relax on Mafia, with plenty of shade, breeze (and air conditioning in the rooms) when the heat gets very intense. Ally and the staff are kind and attentive, and there has clearly been some thought and resources put into the design and finish of the property. Simple but tasty food is served daily, and our rate was inclusive of breakfast and dinner, which was good value. There is direct access down a path and steps to the beach and mangroves. The bar area overlooking the ocean and the tops of trees is stunning, and perfect for a sunset drink or morning coffee.

Very little. Kileleni is still being developed, with the current 3 bandas available for guests soon to expand to 7, but I expect the overall atmosphere of tranquility to be retained. Lunch was overpriced for what it was but that is the only minor complaint.

Beautiful new and well appointed hotel. Crisp laundry and spotless towels. Attentive and helpful staff. Beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. A place for peace and quiet - esp beach combing and bird watching along the mangrove fringed shore.

Perfect for us - but for info the hotel doesn't have a sandy beach. It has access to the sea but as with much of Mafia it is fringed with Magroves. Still great for beach coming and bird watching but If you want white sand beaches then Mafia is not the island for you. Its more a place to see fantastic coral, swim with whalesharks (in the season) and generally slow down.

Ali and his team provided superior service catering to our every need, whether it was last minute activity, transport or meal request. Super welcoming team doing their utmost to make us feel at home.

Only downside to staying at Kileleni is that the WiFi connections is somewhat unstable, which wasn't a great deal given that we were looking for much a needed digital detox. However, when we had to settle the bill at the end of our stay it did require a couple of tries to complete the payment on their 4G enabled PoS terminal.

I can not put in words how much I loved this place and the amount of gratitude I have for the manager. It’s a beautiful serene place with a beautiful pool area and delicious food as well as great apartments. The people working here are super friendly, beyond kind and helpful. Even during a medical emergency they remained calm and supportive.

Peaceful, quiet, serene ambiance. Great for relaxation and creative work. Good food. Excellent staff. Spacious room and bathroom. Nice veranda. Wifi working well. Good amenities in the bathroom..

Steep descent to the beach. Swimming pool was not operational at the time I was there (maintenance or repair).

What an unexpected gem at the end of our holiday. It only has 3 rooms with amazing view and lovely staff. Our 3 year old daughter loved Ali who was so kind to play we her constantly. We stayed here 3 nights which was perfect because it is very secluded. Perfect for chill and some excursions. Food was lovely too. Thanks all!

The food was amazing, pretty much european influenced. The stuff was humble and extremely attentive. Everything was arranged with great taste and much love to detail.

I wasn't aware that there is no beach in that area.
