Very friendly helpful staff. Warm welcome. We booked dinner bed and breakfast, the evening meal was surprisingly very good. The wine was good too. We sat and ate out looking over the beautiful plaza grande. Lovely night.

Just a small thing, we went to breakfast at 8.30. I think a plague of locusts had been! The serving plates were empty. There was a friendly waiter topping up plates and glasses but the empty cheese plate, ham plate, croissant plate (I assume that's what it was as it had crumbs on) weren't refilled, and lots of guests came down after us. All to empty plates. Toast and jam for breakfast

Characterful hotel with comfortable beds in centre of Zafra.

Thin walls could hear everything. Parking arrangement is secure but limited (10€) and half a mile from the hotel. Can off load suitcases outside in the Plaza Grande with a 15 minute stop. The breakfast was ok but the arrangements for hot drinks were difficult and not eco friendly The yoghurt was vile long life rubbish .Maybe because it was Christmas week. Zafra itself is very difficult to navigate narrow roads, few signs . Sat nav is a must but not necessarily accurate. I wouldn't recommend it as a stopover only if you have reason to be there

Lovely wee hotel situated in a corner of the Plaza. Very helpful and cheery staff, good wifi and parking about 7 min walk away in a spacious surface garage site. Good quality continental breakfast with plenty of choice. We chose half board as we arrived Sunday night and weren't sure of anywhere being open for food . Obviously a limited choice menu which was perfectly adequate, could have chosen to pay more for main menu but not necessary. Restaurant was open!

Rather fierce air-conditioning but slept with window open instead which was fine, personally prefer it. Car is only allowed 15 min in Plaza to offload to hotel, apparently regulated by police camera! Front desk will hold your luggage for you whilst you go to the garage.

The hotel is well placed for the plaza itself with varied places to eat. The hotel has a good menu of its own. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and very helpful particularly as we had a few items to keep cool which they placed in their fridge. It also has secure parking a few hundred yards away but hotel guests can park outside for a maximum of 15 minutes to unload cases.

The hotel reception did not open until 8am on the Sunday which meant we couldn’t collect items from the fridge. Something to be aware of but really only a very very minor inconvenience which delayed our early departure and probably would not affect many clients.

Excellent location on Grande Plaza. Staff were very good and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and larger than expected. Nice facility with bar/restaurant attached. The included buffet breakfast was very good and generous with typical Andulzia sliced meats. Cheese, fruit etc., breads etc.u This location and facility offered best value and service of our three week visit to Spain. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect. The room was very nice.

You can hear everything from the rooms beside you. I literally could hear a man snoring all night and going to the bathroom. I didn't like the fact the desk clerk tried to tell me the room I booked with a balcony was gone. I insisted he ask the manager. They gave me a room with a balcony after me showing them the proof of what I had booked.I felt like they were hoping someone else would come along and pay more for the room I had booked. Left a bad feeling for me. I don't usually complain about stuff like this but it was not nice.They also said we would have to pay for off-site parking.You can find a spot on the square with metered parking for a lot less if you time it right.

Very friendly host who spoke excellent English and seemed to do everything including breakfast.! Much appreciated having a bath after a long day's walk. Comfortable beds and quiet room at the back. The breakfast was superb. Loved the freshly squeezed orange. Really recommend. Position great - right on the Plaza.

It was a bit expensive but the breakfast was worth it!

I love this hotel, right on the square in lovely Zafra. It was torrential rain outside and we were wet and cold. We were greeted with friendliness and warm food. The staff went all out to make us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Parking was a 5 minute walk away which is no big deal when you have a lovely square that you dont want to clutter up cars with.. Everything about our room was great, a comfortable bed and great shower. Really clean too, value for money in every way. We had a good nights sleep as it was really silent. Thanks to all the staff there, really respectful and helpful.

Fab location, with friendly staff. They allowed our bikes inside which was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. It just had a good feel to it and wasn’t overpriced.

Unfortunately they didn’t get an excellent due to our air conditioner not working properly. They tried to sort but it really just blew hot air around. We cooked sleeping

The hotel is conveniently located in a nice square that has a good range of bars and restaurants. The shops are also close by. The room we had was small but comfortable ideal for a one night stay and good value considering it included the breakfast. The hotel has a good restaurant menu, if it seems a little pricey you can choose from the bar menu, the food was good. I would definitely use the hotel again.

The only downside is that the parking was a bit of a walk away.
