The property is so serene and calming which was so nice! The pool is refreshingly cool, beds are insanely comfortable, and staff are all really friendly. Arun was so helpful in booking our tours for us, thank you Arun! Overall the resort feels like a peaceful oasis.

I thought the breakfast buffet was very overpriced for what it is. Would have preferred a menu to order from because it would have been a fraction of the price, and likely better food. I was also disappointed to see the hotel advertising and helping tourists book elephant rides when most of the world is so aware of the horrible abuse and exploitation of elephants that occurs in this industry. It would be nice if resorts were instead trying to educate tourists about the abuse captive elephants endure in India for tourism, rather than feeding into the problem. This is the only way to make change in such problematic industries.

Breakfast was good. Lot of decent options. Would have liked the ability to order different kinds of dosas as part of breakfast. Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Rooms were very clean and neat. Staff were able to allocate 3 rooms close to each other as requested. The resort and rooms feel part of nature as evident from the resort location and design. The kids adventure rope course was a hit with our kids. The rope course person was very helpful with the kids. The kids also had fun playing in the pool. Our family of 6 had dinner at the resort and it was excellent. Food was delicious. Overall a wonderful stay!

The rooms need updating as they feel a bit dated. The TVs in the room were very small. TV guide listing the English/Hindi channels would be helpful.

The food at the restaurant on site was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed many different things from the menu. The staff and GM were fantastic and very helpful, even making us some off menu pakoras after we asked if anywhere near sold them.

Greenwoods Resort, is probably my best stay in Kerala. Right from the time we checked in till the time we checked out, we felt we were at home. Each and every staff, especially Mr. Ayub, is excellent in his job. He always made us feel on priority. One cannot imagine how different it could get inside and outside the resort. Outside is a busy city with crowd, shops, traffic and inside is a peaceful valley with wonderful smiles on their faces. If I ever come back to Kerala, I will definitely come to Thekkady and I will ONLY stay in Greenwoods Resort.

Nothing honestly, we could not find any flaw in the resort. Every part of the property is wonderfully built, every staff is warm and helpful.

I'm absolutely loving Greenwood resort in thekkady! Premium Suite, and Pool Honeymoon Villa, both offer a unique and luxurious experience. And, restaurant on site, we enjoy delicious meals without having to leave the resort. They offer amazing facility including swimming pool, zipline, treetop activity, kids activities. Staff was amazing. Welcome tea is delicious. Overall, I think Greenwood Resort in Thekkady is an amazing choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and adventurous getaway in nature.

Pool was not heated.

The place was too good that we did not roam out and spent most of the time in the resort. Location was excellent and the property was too good. The hospitality of the staff was so good and everybody were very warm and smiling. Aswathy and Sona from the frontdesk were very helpful. Food was so amazing too. Laundry service was prompt and was not expensive. On arrival, they treated us with cardamom garlands, tikka and hot cup of coffee. I had asked for a cake and it was prepped too well with no eggs.

There's absolutely nothing to like in this place.

We liked the grounds and outdoor badminton. Pool small but ok. The cooking lesson and dancing entertainment.

The incessant noise of the gardener, blowing leaves - using ironically a petrol device every day. Also, 2/4 pieces of the gym were not working.Also the attitude of the staff on checking in and prior was poor in relation to our payment. We were pestered so much before the stay to pay with an obscure method, which in the end I did in full. However, it seems their systems are so crap they did not receive a ‘code’ for my payment and so on arrival they pestered me again for codes. All we could do was show the money had left our credit card account. We were made to feel like paupers who hadn’t paid and no apology was given and yet it is their problem due to inefficiency!

Nice location up a hill away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Arboretum feel with many labelled trees. Macaques often roaming, along with chipmunks and hordes of cicadas. Food good in restaurant. Good shower with door.

Didn't clean room unprompted. Strange calls each night asking if we planned to eat in the restaurant. Bit tired decor.

It's my third time visiting here. They upgraded my room. Thanks to the management All the while well maintained landscaping here. All the activities still remain the same and create excitement.

Check in check out was terrible. Consuming more time until I have to wait more than 30 minutes. The housekeeping department overlooked the cleaning of the room. When I checked into the room the Dustin was not cleaned. No towels in the room. The lighting was too bad. We have to request. The breakfast was lacking in choices and less tasty especially south indian food. Needs more varieties. There was no sending off from the staff.

We had our family holiday in Thekkady for 3 nights and chose Greenwoods for our holiday resort. The location of the resort is prime and right in the centre of Kumily town which has easy access to everything. Climate in Dec was pleasant and the serenity of Thekkady was brought alive with the beautiful, green and lush resort of Greenwoods. The front office staff and guest relations staff were very courteous and attentive to all our needs with quick turnaround times. In house restaurant serves all types of cuisine and delicious food and the restaurant staff went above and beyond in their culinary service. All in all, fantastic place and a must visit when in Thekkady.
