The Hotel de Turistas is a recent remodeling of an old building, and is exceptionally nice. The room was modern and well appointed. The bath was wonderful with plenty of hot water and water pressure (not always a given in Peru). The hotel amenities included an excellent buffet breakfast and a roof top bar with a view out over the water. The location was perfect as it was easy access for our taxi and short walk to the Plaza Mayor where there are a number of nice restaurants. We had absolutely no complaints other than we wish we could have stayed another night.

The staff were amazing (especially reception staff) and very professional. The air con in the room worked well but was not blisteringly cold. The buffet breakfast was the highlight of Iquitos. Fresh fruit, waffles, french toast, hot food and lots of drink options. The pool and bar/restaurant upstairs was also a bonus (sushi was great, huge portions). Best hotel in Iquitos for the price. Great location.

We stayed 4 nights total and returned from our Amazon tour early. Check in time was at 2pm but due to unforeseen circumstances, they had to delay our check in until about 6:30pm that night. The staff were apologetic and offered us an extra welcome drinks voucher.

The location is good, and the staff is very kind. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom with hot water makes the experience better. The lobby is a good place to work, and the Wi-Fi works pretty well.

As the hotel is still under construction, people are working during the day, which, of course, makes a lot of noise. There is no comfortable place to work in the room, and there is no frigobar as well. Breakfast was good, but, in the second day of our stay, the buffet needed to be refilled at 9 am (breakfast time is up to 11 am), but the staff said they would not do it because there were only a few guests left to have breakfast. Instead, we ordered some eggs and chicken but did not have access to a variety of food; besides, there are limited options if you do not eat dairy or pork.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and the hotel had a wonderful restaurant on the top floors. The view from the roof and the pool were great! Just around the corner from the Hilton but much cheaper and better located.

Only the loud music on the rooftop bar - can’t really avoid this in Iquitos though, they like to party on the weekend! I brought ear plugs and was glad.

Modern luxury hotel. Excellent location on the riverfront. Room was a junior suite, very spacious. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fine,noisy but lively. Service in the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Breakfast had plenty of choices.

The noise from the bar can be heard in the rooms two floors below. The bar noise continues to 11-12 midnight. The patio of the junior suite has no furniture to sit on. The bathroom of our suite was a step up which is tricky at night in the dark.

The location is superb! The view from the pool and the food at the Sky Bar is amazing! Great value for money, compared to the Hilton! The staff are super friendly and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. They also kept some my luggage for me for over a week until I returned.

The breakfast on one day was very basic - there was no buffet and not a great deal of choice, but the second day the breakfast buffet was phenomenal.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel! A wonderful, unique place with an incredible atmosphere. The rooms are a true work of art—every corner is thoughtfully designed, and they are some of the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. Special thanks to the manager, who was incredibly pleasant and always ready to assist, making our stay even more comfortable. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!

The hotel is beautiful, with a spectacular roof top pool, better than the one at the Hilton because the view is incredible! The Sky Bar has well priced great food and drinks!! Despite the noisy bar, I'd go hack in a heart beat if I returned to Iquitos 💕

My room/suite was just below the Sky Bar, so it was pretty noisy at night...if you're a night owl rather than an early bird like me, it's not a problem, but I like to sleep early and wake with the sun!

The suite was amazing. Perfect view of the Amazon river. Friendly staff. And the best is that everything is well integrated. It has a great restaurant and disco on the fourth floor. Be aware though that some music can filter into the room, the windows block most of it but you'll hear it

The tap water comes out kinda salty. So wash your teeth with b ottled water.

The hotel is bright and welcoming, air conditioned throughout, exceptionally clean and airy. All staff from the excellent reception staff who went above & beyond, to the catering staff who are all happy to help.
