Very good location, a few restaurants nearby but remember that I got there by scooter from Kota Kinabalu. Very helpful and nice staff. You can safely leave your scooter. They provided me with an additional plug adapter. Comfortable bed, TV. Very clean, plenty of space in the room. The hotel is a bit old (maybe 80') and you can see signs of wear and tear in places. But because of that it has an amazing atmosphere, as if you were in a movie from that time somewhere in Asia in a hotel, it's hard to describe but the feeling is extraordinary. I really recommend it, it's just an ordinary hotel but I would gladly stay a bit longer for this atmosphere ;).

Relaxing stay at Upper deck hotel last night. Staff welcoming. Some of staff spoke English Parking outside for car, few reserved places for hotel parking. Otherwise there's a few public car spaces. Stairs to room, I was 2 floors up. Good aircon. Large room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Wifi was strong. Clean towels and sheets. Bathroom good size. Shower pressure good and hot water. View out window was of harbour and fishing vessels. Kettle in room Supermarket next door.

The room was spacious, super clean, and had a great sea view of the fishing harbor. the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

WifFI to the Reception area would be nice, as would a table and some chairs in that large, empty space with only couches. I needed to make a zoom call in the middle of the night, and didn't want to wake my partner, so I tried to call from the lounge, but there is no WiFi there. I had to sit in the stairwell, instead, to get reception.

Family Room with Sea View (a room offer in booking.com) is actually 2 rooms connecting each others. We were surprised when received 2 keys for our thought one room. Since we were only 3 peoples; 2 adult and 1 child; the family room are quite spacious. But we enjoyed our staying and having very good sleep here. Ocean view is also very scenery.

Not sound proof room. We can hear the guests from front door.

The room was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was also very big and clean. The view was amazing in the morning and the place is nearby a market where we went and explored early in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly :)

The air conditioner for the single beds room was not cold and the air conditioner for the queen size bed was cold at first but sometimes it would not be cold. I hope the hotel would eventually fix the airconditioner as we would definitely visit Kudat again for our next trip. Other than that, everything was great!

Very nice hotel and friendly stuff. Big rooms, equipped well. Ask for a room with harbor view. They will provide if some is free. Good value for price. Also Kudat itself is nice. You're right near to promenade from this hotel.

Nothing special to mention. It meets our expectations. Maybe elevator and option to have the breakfast. But it is in description and it's really not that big deal. :-)

The location is perfect ... Morning view is stunning looking over the gulf and the fish port, sunset view lagi best where you can see beautiful colours of the sky, hills and sea water. Downstairs of the hotel you can access to a supermarket to get your supplies, also you have a local breakfast place. Parking is plenty.

It is about Kudat where you don't get much to go or see at night. The room wise looks aging but still functional -- definitely spacious.

Great location, very friendly staff, we stayed twice and each time we had a room on the harbour side so had great views. Would recommend this as the best place to stay in Kudat.

Only a very small criticism - it would be good to have a bathmat to dry the floor off after showering.

A very strategic location - close to the market (can buy ikan kering/dried fish, bilis/achovies, amplang, kueh cincin etc) eating places/restaurants, supermarket, banks, golf course, seaside, sea view, can sea the sunset etc

Overall it was good place to stay. Rooms are located on the second floor (after ground floor - lobby & 1st floor - conference rooms) with no lift/elevator. But I guess it’s the market that they’re in with the affordable rates being offered.

I like that the staf is friendly and helpful especially when my room is locked accidentally.. the location also great in terms of easy excess to food and necessities...

Having ankle problem really makes its difficult for me to use the stairs.. lift in the building will be very helpful...
