We had an incredible experience at this hotel during our recent stay in Nubra Valley. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. The team’s attentiveness and kindness made us feel right at home, and their dedication truly enhanced our stay. Our room was nothing short of perfect. The accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a breathtaking view of the majestic Himalayas. Waking up to such a view every morning was an absolute treat, and it made our experience even more memorable. A special mention must be made of Chef Ravi Bane, whose culinary skills turned every meal into a delightful experience. He made sure to prepare each dish using fresh, local ingredients, and every night we were surprised with something new and delicious. The attention to detail in the food was outstanding, and it added a personal touch to our stay that we will not forget. Despite staying during the mid-winter season, the hotel provided us with excellent heating throughout our stay. Our room was equipped with a bed warmer and bathroom floor heating, which made the chilly weather outside feel like a distant memory. The warmth and comfort we experienced indoors were much appreciated during the cold nights. We’d like to express our sincere thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special. From the welcoming staff to the amazing culinary experience and the cozy, well-equipped rooms, everything was beyond our expectations. We are already planning our next visit to Nubra Valley and are excited to return during a different season to enjoy the new expansion and the pool. We can’t wait to experience the hotel in warmer weather, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

My stay at Lchang Nang Retreat was pure magic! The retreat's serene ambiance, stunning views, and warm hospitality made me feel like I was in a slice of heaven. The BBQ with Guided Stargazing at Sumur Sand Dunes with a certified astronomy guide were absolute bliss - the flavors were incredible, and the company was even better! And the stargazing experience was breathtaking - lying under the starry sky, surrounded by the silence of nature, was truly mesmerizing. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring every need was met. I highly recommend Lchang Nang Retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway amidst nature's splendor. Can't wait to return !!

As I stepped into the serene surroundings of Lchang Nang Retreat, nestled in the heart of Nubra Valley, I knew I was in for a treat. Arham & Jimmy were so helpful, they told us the history of the area & went out of their way to show us the local villages & towns. Arham has a great knowledge of the stars & on a clear night we did star gazing. The chef, Rowie totally meet our requirements & cooked the most delicious breakfast & dinner for us. The location of the retreat is scenically beautiful, peaceful & perfect for having a quiet retreat.

One of the best resorts in Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok River. Designed for discerning travellers in search of peace, the retreat seeks to combine comfort and simplicity with a touch of opulence while paying homage to its vibrant heritage. Imagine waking up to the chirping of the birds with the glorious snowpeaked mountains . The resort has best local foods and caters to the Dietary Preferences of all the guests. We are thankful to Chet Chef for arranging vegan and gluten free foods. Shabir and team do wonderful job.

A stunning paradise! Right from the start, the booking process was so seamless. Thanks to Mr. Shabir for making reservation process very smooth for us & answering all our queries patiently & promptly. As soon as you enter to the property, you’d be taken aback by its ethereal beauty! They greet you with local seabuck thorn juice and happy smiles :) The orientation was done by Ms. Kakar and loved the energy with which she acquainted us with the property & lovely staff. Loved how this property quietly co-habitats with beautiful nature. Our room was super cozy and insulated amidst the chilly winters ( something which is very preciously rare in Nubra ) Our cottage just like other ones was individually solar powered. All the amenities were green and brilliant! The food? Oh it was so appetising. You get unfathomable variety. Bakery items were delicious as well. However, few of must trys are - PANCAKE, PAV BHAJI & COFFEE! The staff is super cordial and warm. They are always ensuring you are best taken care of. Service is pretty quick! In short, the hospitality was so good and warm! We booked a curated experience in advance - Sunset Yoga at Sumur Sand Dunes. It was once-in-a-lifetime experience :) A special mention of the sustainability quotient followed by the resort. We felt proud for having booked a resort that takes sustainability very seriously! Altogether, a mind blowing experience and hence, you must visit here!

The overall experience at Lchang Nang was outstanding . Shabir was always very responsive on the calls and took the onus on himself to brief us about the property once we were there . We were impressed by the layout of the property in a very challenging environment - the privacy is utmost and everything from rooms , breakfast , staff behaviour was top notch . We were very warmly attended to by the chef as well who customized the "Thupka" dish as per our requirements . Was very encouraging to see the sustainabile renewable energy initiatives at the resort and non-usage of plastics . The place pleasantly surprised me with the degree of hospitality it provided . Strongly recommended for any future traveller .

While one understands great hospitality and facilities comes at a price , it would be superawesome if the pricing was a couple of grands lower !

One of the best eco retreats we have been. We loved almost everything about this place. Be it there aesthetically designed cottages, food or their curated experiences. Village trek by Dolma was an amazing experience. In the evening, we also did the stargazing at the resort and the guide was well knowledgeable. Joydip, Shabir and his team did the incredible job to make our stay incredible.

Great location and environment, nice food, comfortable rooms

It often took three or four requests to get served food or drink. The waitstaff would say yes, and then not do anything, even for simple requests. The managers were very nice and competent though. Also the hotel did not have plug adapters for international travelers and the rooms don't have international outlets.
