This was an extremely pleasant hotel. Their rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I had a wonderful few days at the hotel. Breakfast was superb and in a great ambient room. Thank you.

I did find the restaurant meals were the same for lunch as dinner. Although, a good choice I did find the lack of lighter food at lunch time disappointing. I asked for something off the room service menu which was lighter; Chicken Noodle soup and yoghurt and raspberry sauce, but this was not possible. i also found being given olives at the start of all five meals during my stay a little disappointing. A bit of variety would have been good. However, still an excellent restaurant, but these small changes would make it even better.

Our second time here, we enjoyed as much as the first time. Especially the location and beauty of the hotel

The surcharge for the dog was not mentioned in the advert and we were not so happily surprised by the extra costs. Discussion with the staff didn't lead to much, only a 5 euro discount. We still think that they should have mention it. Now the advert says "includes all charges" which is misleading. Just mention the cost of bringing a pet in the comments like other hotels do. Also the Wifi in the room was useless. It didn't work or was very slow. Normally not something to complain about as we all have 5G, but cellphone reception is also almost none. Not great if you stop here and need to look after some work stuff.

We would have given top marks, but unfortunately the standard of the evening meal let the side down. Service was very good but the meal quality was poor compared to the overall standard set by the hotel facilities. Stone cold plates meant the meagre sauce and accompaniments were cold when served. We had venison and a chicken dish. Venison served without any potatoes or vegetables- just a few mushrooms. The chicken was served with two small potato cakes ( really small) no vegetables on either dish. The Michelin restaurant is only open at weekends which is understandable as the hotel was very quiet, however it’s important that the alternative reaches a standard set as to the expected experience. This said we would not hesitate to return and recommend to others. Just watch your menu choices.

The staff was superb! Very professional and welcoming. Location was great and the room was very comfortable. Hotel facilites are top quality and the food at the restaurant was amazing. My son got sick during dinner and the restaurant staff attended to his needs and even brought the remaining dinner to our room. The only bad thing was that our stay was too short.

Disappointed outside pool area was closed. The evening meal in the restaurant very poor quality. No other places to eat or drink within a reasonable distance.

A lovely welcome from the general manager on arrival, our little dog was also made very welcome. The setting and hotel are stunning, for anyone driving from North to South or vice versa, it's a fantastic place to stop. The rooms and beds are so comfortable and the food delicious. There's also a very nice pool area outside.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were big and the bed was very comfortable. The food was excellent.

Some areas of the spa weren’t clean and need urgent renovation.

The spa is absolutely marvellous! The service, impeccable. They accept dogs and are very nice to them too.

The resort is located within a hunting valley, something to be mindful if you want to go for a walk, specially with a dog.

Remote location with beautiful views all around; a lot of space at the pool. Comfortable rooms with good beds, clean linen and towels. Bluetooth system allows you to listen to your own music, also in the bathroom!

Swimming pool depth is only 1.45m. The sauna is outdated and needs some renovation, especially the steam room and the Finnish sauna. The quality of the dinner I had in the restaurant was poor, if you compare it what you may expect from a 5star hotel.
