It’s a charming, historical hotel. Room was very spacious, clean and had a wonderful authentic decor. The bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated and it was also very large (no shower but a huge tub). The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The room was also very well stocked with great quality bathroom products as well as a coffee machine, water bottles and earplugs (which we didn’t end up needing despite the proximity to the train tracks). The daily fare includes breakfast which was well appointed. All the rooms are unique and dedicated to famous characters of the Wild West. (Like Buffalo Bill). There is a restaurant on site that has a great menu.

It felt very special to be staying in such a historic hotel. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Plus beautiful decor. All individually styled too. The bathroom really felt 5*. Also a great restaurant and bar downstairs with lots of Buffalo Bill mentions.

Breakfast is in a cellar which felt a bit odd when they have lots of empty space on the ground level with windows. I appreciate this is used for other purposes sometimes though. Breakfast didn't quite match the rest of the hotel though.

Our stay at the Sheridan Inn was amazing. The Inn has been restored and maintained true to its history and is just beautiful. Yet, it has all the amenities one would expect in a nice hotel. One caution: There is no shower; the claw foot tub has a hand sprayer to use for showering off while sitting in the tub. Someone with physical limitations may have difficulty getting in and out of the tub. The Sheridan Inn is located just a block from the main street with all the old shops, restaurants, and bars. The continental breakfast was excellent; fresh fruit, pastries, cheese, meat, eggs, etc.. For more historical experiences, go to the Mint Bar on N. Main Street!!

We loved it all!!

Yes it's expensive but just do it, it's not everyday you stay in a bit of American history. The way the management have kept the legacy of the property intact whilst adding convenience and comfort is amazing. To sit on the stoop and watch the trains, or just sit there on a rocking chair in the moonlight is simply wonderful. The food was good and the customer service efficient and friendly. Great bed and a superb bathroom. And then, when you're ready, go round the corner for a walk down Main Street, which has to be one of the finest in the US.

The breakfast 'buffet' is seriously underwhelming compared to the rest of the offer.

A hotel with lots of history and only 22 unique rooms which are all named after someone who worked with Buffalo Bill on his Rodeo show. There are pictures around the hotel of the history of the hotel with Buffalo Bill. A short walk to the shops in Sheridan - a very nice quiet town with lots of good shops and restaurants.

Everything. This was one of the best experiences I have had. Michael at the front desk was wonderful, gave great ideas on how to enjoy the evening sunset, and was full of information. Jessica at the bar was sweet and gave great advice to try the French onion soup w bison broth. The burger was just about perfect. The room itself was decorated in old-timey Wild Bill Hickcock style, and walking the dimlit halls felt very much like going back in time. The room was comfortable, as was the bed, and I loved all the little special soaps and touches. The breakfast was truly a spread! The front porch is perfect for sitting a spell. Everything was truly wonderful and I can't wait to come back.

Just a note for people with youngin's, no tv, but seriously not needed because it would ruin the ambiance. Not a complaint!

We stopped for the night as we were just passing through town, but we wishes we could have stayed longer. The hotel is wonderfully historic and beautifully renovated. While the rooms are on the small side, there was more than enough space to get around. We lived the room decor too! The breakfast had all the things i like: fresh fruit, yogurt, homemade pastries and teas and coffee. We will be back!!

1) when booking the hotel, I was not aware that only some rooms had a shower...as the description said: king room with bath. what should be said is: King room with only bath....as one assumes that there is a bath with a shower head is included. 2) I stayed for 3 nights, and each morning had to ask for hot water for my tea. There were green tea bags available for clients, but no hot water...just coffee. So for a Best Western, I found this to be somewhat bothersome.

I appreciated the attention to detail of the overall hotel and rooms- especially maintaining the historical significance. The building appeared to be well-cared for and was very clean. I like the ice water in the lobby.

The bathtub/shower accommodations are not ideal- I appreciate staying within the era of the hotel- with a claw footed tub- but difficult to use the handheld shower without making a bit of a water mess on the bathroom floor. The room temperature control is fair---- comfortable during a warm summer climate--- but the room air-conditioning is directly over the bed--- and quite chilly as it turns on and off throughout the day and night. Possible to not have the bed under the cooling system? The breakfast was fair- a little more attention to the freshness of the fare- and adding dry cereal choices.

lovely and well maintained historic hotel. Every staff member was utterly delightful and friendly. Very comfortable bed, good wifi. Nice location. 10 - 15 minute walk to all downtown locations. there's a coffee shop and brewery not even a five minute walk. Beautiful fixtures in the bathroom. Be warned if you want a walk in shower, you need to request. My room had only a tub which was fine except for getting the whole bathroom wet with the hand shower; no big deal. Keep in mind there's no tv but one does not go to beautiful Wyoming to stay in the room and watch tv. If you need a bedtime episode of something, the wifi is strong enough to stream on your laptop. They serve breakfast but can't comment as I went out to explore the local coffee shops. If you arrive on the late night flight you'll need to stop first at the best western to pick up the key but they were great about cleary explaining all of this in advance. Would definitely stay again
