A genuine, honest rural environment, true to the Finnish countryside. Not luxurious but actually all that could be expected was offered and available. . Rooms where OK, the beauty and silence of the environment was calming. The friendliness of the hostess was honest, breakfast was top quality, meaning that a berry juice tasted berries and was home-made, the porridge had simmered for hours etc. We needed a place to stay overnight for a visit to an Art Gallery (Mänttä). The Peltola farm was just 5 min ride away, most convenient. The place allowed for taking a swim in the evening in the nearby lake, and a glass of wine we brought from a nearby supermarket was enjoyed under,the apple trees.

Really nice stay with super tasty breakfast. Dog friendly with a great lawn.
Since we had a heat wave with +30 degrees, the rooms were really warm during the night. The fans didn't help much, nice that the lake is so close by.

Wonderful place! Historic admirable buildings, beautiful lake, sauna, tasty breakfast, hospitable and helpful owner. Fantastic place for rest and chill out. It was a great time for me to be here! Kilitos paljon!

It was not my first stay in this place. It's fun to sleep with the windows open and be waken up by birds. And the bed was comfortable.
It was not fun having property owner waiting us to arrive until midnight. But she did it without a problem.

Unique place! Morning swim in the lake and then the breakfast at the ”big room” of an old farm house is a fabulous experience!

The breakfast was great! We had a family room and it's "tower" was a hit with the kids. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere.

The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet that during the first night we didn’t even notice we slept with the window open. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room showcasing a historic finnish farmhouse. During our stay at late summer many of the flowers on the were still blooming, adding to the charming air of the yard.
