My main meal arrived with my starter and took my main meal away when they realised their mistake. When they brought out my main meal later it was dry and the plate very hot so had just been kept warm. The staff apologised but not good.

Lovely renovated rooms in an absolutely stunning little town with a castle. Breakfast in a nearby inn was also nice.

Roomy comfortable bedrooms. Quiet location. Good breakfast choice, particularly liked the choice of smoothies. Welcoming staff.

We love the building, its design and its location. It is spacious, clean, comfortable and modernly equipped.

We had no internet, no wifi and no signal on the tv. We could not watch the European Soccer Championship! There is no reception desk, nor any staff around to ask for assistance.

The Location in Amerongen is okay; the Breakfast good (at an extra charge that day of 14,50 eur p.p). The Rooms are in another building located about 50 meters from the restaurant-pub. There was free Wifi in the room and a selection of books magazines available for reading in the hall (court-yard) library.

The Rooms are located in a concrete floored building where activities (such as party) with public sound levels perspiring therefrom on the day of our stay until around 22.00 hrs p.m. The evening menu that day was a 6-course Xmas dinner (49.50 eur all-in without drinks) - option was given to restrict to e.g. the main course only (without pricing the course items). I forgot to upfront enquire about the price of the selected main course - was charged at 37.50 eur. Upon review I was told that main course was (or should have been) large size.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Smack in the middle of a very pittoresque village. We could park the car right in front of the hotel, which was a definite plus. Breakfast was good with deliciously fresh breads. Staff courteous and friendly.

The old fashioned granite floor which is cold and gives the impression of being dirty.
