Found at the entry point to the small infamous Safran town of Taliouine, this humbly priced hotel was a pleaser to spend two nights in. Didn't get a chance to investigate its Amazigh history, cultural roots, natural beauty, and mountainous surroundings, however, it served as a great place to stop off, kick back and relax, before heading back on to the road, pushing into new ground. The service was good, which of course equally made the stay comfortable.

The Le Safran is nothing fancy but perfectly fine accommodation if you need a place to stay in Talouine. The owner and staff are genuinely welcoming and friendly. The brightly painted rooms are large enough and functional. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Room rates are also very reasonable.

Food was not important for me, I m trying to buy food by myself. It was possible even if not the close, including perfect and cheep tea. Sunrises and sunsets from room or from roof were magic! every day with peace and harmony. River and natural vegetation were very important including two ruins on oposite river side, which are possible to reach by foot.

We loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. Nice pool. The sitting area/salon upstairs is very beautiful. There is a super breakfast and a very good evening meal. The hotel is located a little bit out of the center, but it is within walking distance.

You don’t have much options for staying around here, so this place is just fine. The room was warm and comfortable for a one night stay. We were hungry at the time of sunset in ramadan so they kindly prepared quick meal for us and saved our lives. That was really nice of them. Regarding the near attractions: The safran museum is a joke, not worth going, unless you are interested in reading one bilboard in french language. For visiting tislit gorge prepare in advance (regarding food and directions). Ifri Imadiden was the best place to visit at our stay. Short trip though.

Great place to stay on the road between Agadir and Ourzazate, great for motorbikes as it as a safe parking inside. The building is cool and warm, the host supports the needs of the guests. The dinner was nice. The rooms are situate on the first and second floor, the stairs are narrow and steep!

This was probably our best stay in our road trip. The room was very spacious with nice furniture, it even had a desk and a chair and with very nice bathrooms, for Morrocco, and with amazing common spaces, that the guests can use, inside the hotel, there is a very nice lounge room with a view to the mountains with sofas with wooden decoration all around the walls and also outside at the roof terrace, there is a sitting area for the guests with a majestic view. Also, we liked that our room had a lot of windows, all of them with view to the mountains. All in all, a very charming hotel.

Unfortunately we had no internet signal in our room and not any good one at the lounge room on our floor, so we eventually used the wifi at the reception room, at the cafeteria of the hotel.

Nice room, good size, clean and comfortable. Great location, on the edge of town, but not too far to walk. Substantial breakfast.

I thought a little expensive. It would have been better if breakfast was included.

Room with an amazing view. Large clean bathroom. Airy terrace with shade to sit outside anytime.

Breakfast was expensive for what you got. We had better & more choice at other hotels for less money.

Very convenient and good value for a stop in the nice town of Taliouine. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It seems more like a place to stop overnight for tourists and others who travel along the road than a place for a long stay, and it is very good for that. There are many small markets / shops and places a few hundred meters away, and everyone in town is very friendly.
