Great place to spend precious moments and capture memories with family and friends! Maayo Hotel exceeded our expectations. We came from Houston and tired from a very long plane ride and we were welcomed by Wennie at the front desk. She checked us in smoothly! Angel also helped us with our accommodations on the second shift. They both served us with a smile! The hotel design is picture perfect! The resort pool is beautiful. The entire crew are super friendly and so kind and sincere. We felt right at home. Our 10 day stay is amazing! We are coming back! Everyday at breakfast, we are greeted by the first shift crew supervisor Manfred along with his team Jay, Ryan, chef Roel who made the best tomato soup. Chef Danilo and chef RJ are simply amazing, made the best sisig and chop suey! At lunch time, we get our food service from Jay, Francis, Regirl, Arvie, James, Clayford, Paul, Jay and Wilmar. Jay makes the best Margaritas! Wilmar makes the best Bahama Mama! Shuttle service to the pool area is always available, Casiano and Virgilio are always there to ensure we get our rides and not to be walking. He always checked on us and offer a ride to avoid the severe heat outside. Coming from Houston, the temp is not that different, we prefer walking. Yes Houston is hot and humid. Thanks also to the housekeepers who always checked on us if we need cleaning service. Thank you Kearn, Juabert and Rhodil. You are all very hardworking. On our last day, had to check out really early, Jay and Manfred made sure we get our breakfast ordered and ready by 5:00AM. Manfred came and delivered our to go boxes! Thank you Jovelyn for carrying my luggages outside as our driver was already waiting! From checking in to checking out, Maayo Hotel maintained the high quality service! Thank You!

Location was perfect. You could see the sea. But had the comfort of the swimming pool, because we have small children. We tried to go to the sea nearby but it was tide and windy, so dangerous for the kids. We arrived early so no room ready but we could get towels and make use of the pool. There's a changing room with showers and toilet near the pool. It was clean, all working and tidy. We brought our own snacks so that was nice. The theme of the hotel was gorgeous. We got a family room, divided in 2 connecting bedrooms. All proper, good working aircon, good beds and ammenities. You can hear some of the neighbours but not annoying and if you use earbuds for sleep you can sleep easily. The shuttle bus was quickly, mostly in the neighbourhood so you can hop on. Personel was friendly. They will update you by cellphone (if you have a local number) if there's some changes, like a notify that there will be a short shortcut of electricity. Easy relaxing place to be! Totally recommand it.

Some more shades in the form of trees. Or sunbed with attaching beach umbrella. The shades by the tables were perfect. But it was to hot to walk around at the garden.

The serenity of the place is the most I like. Even the set up of the hotel is not that easy to access going to the reception, restaurant, pool and back to the room but it's good to walk especially in the early morning..very peaceful and breezy..staff are very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was good. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Standard Room was very spacious and clean! It was very humid outside and I'm glad the aircon works very well. Staff was very, hospitable, courteous and attentive. Food was delicious too and the pool was great, the water temp was just right. Amazing Architecture also. I felt like we were in Santorini We went together with our grandad too, and their shuttle service was very helpful going around the area.

Pricey food. Having food delivered in your room has a convenience charge of 100php so we just decided to walk all the way to the restaurant. Didn't use the TV because there's no cable tv or netflix

Very quite location away from the hassle and dassle of city stays. Swimming pool was great and clean

Too many tripping hazards from staircase to corridor to room landing. Did not make up room even if tag was in the door as instructed. Not 24hrs reception service so after hours nowhere to ask for more towels.

We like the fact that its next to the beach. The view at night is scenic. It's like I'm in Greece with its dome and pillars. I didn't expect something like that is in Cebu. It's a must place for booking when you're traveling south. When we requested for rooms that are fit for seniors, the staff didn't hesitate to accommodate such request.

Bed was comfy. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious. The pool was very clean.

It’s not something I dislike but just a suggestion to maybe have a mini ref in the room. My mom needs to inject insulin each night and it has to be kept in a low temp place.

The location close to the sea. The pool. The friendly staff. The facilities.

When showering the water was either cold (shower head in the ceil) or very hot (the removalable shower head). It was a challenge to take a shower because of this.

Needs more towel rack for a family room , only 2 for 4 occupancy room , needs to provide Hand towel and a bigger towel rug

The room lighting could have been a little brighter specially in the living/dining area. Overall everything is good
