The pools are incredible, the rooms are large and new, and the breakfast is excellent. We really felt like we were on vacation. It was very family friendly to all ages. They served Kuchen in the afternoon. It is very close to Spieleland and an hour from Legoland. It is an hour from Lake Constance. There is a nice castle in the lovely town and a great restaurant nearby at Hotel Arthaus, where they have a very popular medieval dinner.

No fridge in the room. One staff member told us one thing was included in our price but we were charged by a different staff member for it when leaving. We were confused why that happened. It would not prevent us from returning. We loved the hotel and pools. The rest of the staff were kind.

It has very nice sauna facilities and pools of different types and temperatures, excellent to pass by the time with kids. The breakfast was quite varied and it even included prosecco. The rooms were well cleaned and with enough towels. It is close enough to the town but still in a very quiet area. The partner restaurant a couple of kilometers away it's very good and with a big park for the kids.

Food in the pool area is not so good and it is the only option in the hotel after breakfast. One could not blackout the rooms, which is slightly annoying if you have small kids and it's summer, then a lot of light comes in and takes longer for them to fall asleep. The sauna should just have a water fountain to freely drink water when needed, rather than getting a bottled one from the bar.

The reason we chose this hotel was the wellness center. It's really good place to relax! There are swimming pools both inside and outside. There are plenty of sun loungers, including on the beautiful, well-kept lawn of the small garden. You get robes and extra towels when you check in. The breakfast selection is small, but everything is fresh and tasty. Hot breakfast options include omelette, bacon, waffles, and coffee. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there's free parking.

Our room did not have a balcony. The windows have blinds that cannot be raised (only turned). Therefore, the air flow is limited and it is dark all the time. I do not recommend taking such a room. A big minus, in my opinion, is that the hotel does not have a restaurant. In order not to stay hungry, you will have to either take care of dinner in advance, or walk/drive to the city. Not very convenient.

Amazing staff especially in the breakfast room- really friendly and u could enter the thermal bath with morning gowns on- brilliant! Very clean and tidy, great breakfast options

The receptionist in the morning was a disgrace to my family! She was moody, rude , did personal calls when we entered the reception area. We asked for towels and she rolled her eyes .... Very unfriendly

On late summer with sunny days, the place just glows with beauty. It is a very nice place to go hide and relax alone or with your family. If you are comming from abroad, you will meet a very helpful and nice staff. You will manage to get by with English alone, but some German words would be very helpful. If you arrive at the train station in Aulendorf, then a 10 minute walk would be enough to get to the hotel if you are not carrying to much luggage.

I liked the stay quite a lot, but I would say that I only missed a door to close the shower.

Hotel has a direct connection to the Spa/Therme : Bathrobe, towel and access key provided by the Hotel Reception. Possibility to buy L'Occitane beauty products. Restaurants in walking distance. Cleanliness of the hotel and the room. Decoration of the room is minimalist which creates a relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfast with plenty of choices.

Bed linen was of poor quality. Only one pillow per bed, in synthetic filling : usually there are two per person with a choice of feathers or synthetic. Coffee from the coffee machine at the breakfast had a taste of burn.

The family room is spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is fantastic to all preferences: fish, eggs, meat, fruit, cereal, cheese, bread, coffee, drinks. No-one can stand a glass of sparkling wine.

Great classic spa hotel. Spacious beautifully furnished room with sunlit balcony. Great spa with swimming pool, indoor hot pool, great outdoor pool. Perfect place to spend relaxing weekend. Excellent breakfast!

Breakfast was ok, I wish there was more sweet stuff. Rooms are large and clean. Thermalbad nearby was also good, more for families than for relax, but it is large and has many pools. Special mention for the SPA lady who did very good treatments and massages! Will come back!

Loved the facility, especially if staying with children.

TV did not work. Could not be fixed during our stay. Had some language impediment due to my none existing German ability. Staff can speak rudimentary English. It had its moments. But ok in end. Biggest issue was being confronted with prospective higher charge because was staying with 2 children. However, I suspect this was a lack of communication between Booking.com and the hotel, rather than the hotel itself. When confirming stay, I had clearly stated I would be staying overnight with my 2 kids and their ages. Hotel only had info as the room was for one person. Tried to get me to pay more. In the end, we settled on what was offered on Booking.com.
