Everything was perfect. The Lugas family ( father and daughter )are very hospitable and welcoming. It is like being at home away from home. The Lugas are very helpful and eager to assist. If all hosts are like them we would not need to check reviews. Rooms are immaculately clean. Great wifi and the delicious breakfast is all local and homegrown. From a seasoned traveller, no property has come close to the care and attention to detail that Il borgo dell arcangelo displays . A well deserved 10/10

Nothing to complain about or to improve on.

Lovely traditional home with various rooms on various split levels. Charming. Nice inner court to sit and read and great bird sounds in the morning! The hosts were very friendly. Luigi explained with enthusiasm about Sardinia and the neighbourhood and suggested some sightseeing options such as su naraxi, as well as the natural park with wild horses. Great place to stay, great environment and we also had a nice dinner of the home grown vegetables/ingredients and wine

Il Borgo dell'Arcangelo is exceptional. The hostess was very welcoming, giving us a tour of the fantastic property, sharing a lot of information about Tuili, also very helpful and keen. Her enthusiasm for what her family does is incredible. The location is a pearl, traditional Campidanese house very well taken care of with Sardinian vintage furniture and modern decorations, you will want to take pictures of this place! The breakfast was also fantastic, she prepared a little buffet for the 2 of us with a wide variety of local dishes including products produced by her family (honey, almonds, pecorino, melo, jams) and eggs, meat and cakes.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. They gave us a helpful leaflet listing nearby activities/places of interest and places to eat. They actually called and booked places in restaurants for us! We loved the food in the restaurants that were recommended to us. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning. There was ample space to park right outside the property. We were given a glass of wine from the family's own vineyard to sample one evening.

I was disappointed to discover after arriving at the property, that dinner was not going to be available on either night of our 2 day stay. I had been looking forward to this and this was actually one of the key reasons that I had chosen to book this type of accommodation. The reason for this seems to have been that there was only one other room booked at the property and the upcoming Ferragosto festival. I feel this should have been communicated in advance.

Excellent breakfast. The owners has their own winery and they serve wine. The place its very unique.

The owners serve dinner for us. They tell us that the dinner wasn't included in the price of our stay next day. The didn't inform us before that we have to pay for it. It was 30 euro per person. + extra money for wine. Plate of antipasti and little portion of pasta. It was very good but it wasn't worth that 30 euro.

Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. They made you feel cofortable and provided very helpful and interesting information about the history and things to see and do in the area. All very clean. The actual building in campidanese style is beautiful and it was great to be able to enjoy it, including sitting out in the inner court, in such a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised about all the interesting places to see very close by. The are puts a lot of care and pride in the heritage.

Property is beautiful; staff were lovely; breakfast delightful, town itself is charming

Nothing to dislike; however, potential guests should know that dinner is not served and town is very small with few opportunities to eat. Options: buy something at the local grocery store and eat in the lovely garden or eat at the local pizzeria or go outside the town (nearby Barumini has several options).

The old farmer building was renovated with a lot of love for details. The owner family was extremly kind and helpful. They gave us a lot of interesting information about the region and its history. They even booked a table at a very nice restaurant for us. The location is perfect to reach everything of interest and the breakfast was autstanding! Thank you!

Wonderful location in pretty village sounded by hills. very easy access to the Jara park and it’s trails. the entire family was delightful. Great breakfast and the most delicious super cooked fresh for us, on request.

tea making facilities in the room would have been good to have, a bottle if water and a glass.

Intimate, family owned and operated. Super sweet family. Very helpful. Old stone Spanish’s style villa with only 6 guest rooms. But beautifully kept and maintained. Very unique and charming. Beautiful abundant breakfast included.

Well, the town is very small and sleepy.
