We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Mardin. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Old Town, just a short walk from all the main sights and attractions. The service was truly exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, including arranging transportation and making calls on our behalf. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. A special mention goes to the lovely cleaning lady who did an impeccable job - everything was spotless, and her attention to detail really stood out. Breakfast was also great, with a nice variety of food to choose from each morning. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and authentic, creating a warm atmosphere, it even has 2 terraces to chill on. The overall ambience and the view from the hotel were absolutely stunning. The only downside was that our room didn’t have a window, which made ventilation a bit difficult. The bathroom and toilet seemed to have been added later inside the room, which appears to be common in most similar hotels in the area. On the bright side, the internet connection was excellent throughout our stay. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mardin.

The location of this hotel is simply outstanding — the terrace offers a breathtaking view over Mesopotamia. I stayed for four nights as a solo traveller and had a wonderful time. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though not everyone speaks English, communication was never a problem thanks to Google Translate. They organised a lovely day trip for me together with other guests, which was a highlight of my stay. On the day I was leaving, they suggested I take local transport to the main bus station instead of a taxi, saving me 300 TL. I was personally escorted to the bus stop, and the hotel owner kindly waited with me for the right bus and even bought me a bottle of water. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel — not only for its spectacular location, but also for the genuine hospitality that makes you feel truly cared for.

The property had an amazing view and location! Staff was really kind and helpful! However,the room was, surprisingly for us, without a window which was not clear from the pictures and there was a terrace on the floor and not to the room. There was mold in the room and without a way to ventilate, the air was not good, therefore we slept with the door open,which was not perfect but was ok for us. Maybe in the hot summer days, the smell will not be felt as much. It would be worth it to book a room with a window even if more expensive. Breakfast was delicious and the staff really nice. There was hot water all the time:-)

The staff made our 3 nights stay a memorable one ; making us feel as part of the family, finding solution to every matter. The owner Burak and the manager Aslan as well as the ladies at breakfast and cleaning are going extra mile to comfort the guests .

We liked it all. Only if you have anyone with walking difficulties , it can be challenging due to the stairs which is due to the city being on the hill.

The staff were very friendly and always looking to help. I should note as an American English speaker that most of the hotel staff spoke little or no English. We used Google Translate almost exclusively. This is not a problem for me and I don't consider it a negative in any way but other non-Turkish speakers should be aware of this if you are not comfortable with that.

The wifi was wildly inconsistent. Due to the nature of the building and materials it was always going to be a problem and there were at least three networks available to log into depending where on the property one was but what I did find a little frustrating was that sometimes one of the networks had strong stable connections and at others it was almost impossible to connect. (I'm specifically referring to connecting to their wifi as opposed to speeds one connected. Once/if connected speeds were good only the ability to connect to their various SSID's were problematic.)

The breaktaking view of the Mesopotamia, the hospitality, cleanliness and the location close to important points of interest. The hotel is situated in the heart of the ancient city, but in a quiet street.

I loved the view from the terrace of the hotel. I liked the comfy bed and the helpful staff ( even though they did not really speak English, only a few sentences, but they resolved what we needed). We loved the breakfast very much.

I did not like the very narrow bathroom. This is not for bigger and fatter persons at all.

The hotel is in a great location near all amenities. It has a terrace with a stunning view on Mesopotamia. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was great and fulfilling. The room was cozy and well equipped with stone walls and wooden furniture.

I stayed here when the earthquake happen. Luckily nothing is happened to the property. The room is nice. This building is the old structure and it’s very beautiful and it have very nice terrace that can oversee the Mardin old town but it have no lift. The staff are very kind hearted. I gave them 200% for the hospitality. The weather when I came is quite worst, so it’s hard to go out. But they invited me for dinner and it’s very tasty. I offered to pay, but they rejected it. I recommend this hotel if u looking for great staffs, beautiful hotel and great scenery from the terrace.

They don't have reception, nobody speaks English they speak only Turkish. The restroom in my room had mold.
