This guesthouse is a wonderful and a very convenient place to stay in Hanko! The hotel manager was superbly accommodating and helpful - sharing many local tips for what to explore in the city. The room was very nice, spacious, with all facilities, and even a teapot. The whole setting with breakfast bags and make-your-own coffee in the kitchen is organised very neatly, allowing a lot of flexibility in the morning. The location is also great, very close to the railway station, to the Hanko Museum, and just a bridge away from the city centre.

It's a wooden building, so there's not a lot of soundproofing - but in principle, during my stay, all guests were very quiet, so it didn't disturb at all!

Breakfast was served as " paperbag package" in fridge that all guests can take and have in the morning independent. Guests have to cook coffee and tea as " do it yourself-method". Breakfast room was guite small compared to guest amount. It was also possible to have breakfast in own room but have to get coffee + breakfast bag from breakfast room. There was not dishwasher in breakfast room so guests have to wash dishes also manually .

Breakfast was surprisingly great with plenty of items in the bag prepared for each guest. They take all allergies and dietary requirements into account. The location was also ideal: just a short walk away from the harbour and next to a big supermarket. Super easy for people travelling by car. Comfy beds and each bed had its own socket.

It was unpleasant to notice that there were some hair from previous guests left at the shower and it made me a bit doubtful of how well the place had been cleaned even if the rest of the space seemed okay. Even though the actual guest house was in a quiet spot, the walls are very thin and you can hear conversations through the walls.

Breakfast was OK. A young girl who appeared to be a housekeeper was very pleasant and helpful.

A notification about keys was sent in Swedish only. When we arrived at 5:00 PM and used a cell phone to call a live person with a question, a man answered in a very bad English. He was somewhat annoyed and impatient explaining how we can get into the room. In fact, we were not the only ones who were confused how to get in.

Plenty for breakfast, even for non-meat eater. There is plenty of space if you come with children and family.

As it is a Guesthouse, not a hotel, I think you get very good value for money

Breakfast was in general fine - however, I was on bike tour, 140 km ahead of me - so maybe some boosted option would be nice. Of course with extra price.

Spacious room, quite near to center and railway station. Supermarket next door. Refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware at disposal. Free parking lot.

No traffic noise, but there is no noise isolation to corridor though there isn't many rooms next to yours. Other lunchbox dietary option wasn't obeyed.

Historical place, location, easy access to local attractions, simple to follow instructions, breakfast (although I forgot it on the table 😢, cleanness and friendly staff and service etc

It would've been nice if I would've been possible to request a vegetarian/vegan breakfast. Although I travelled on short notice, so I fulliy understand that wasn't possible :)

It's a beautiful house with charming rooms and a quiet and idyllic surrounding. The owner is super friendly, everything was just perfect. The rooms are not very big, but very cosy.
