Typical large modern hotel in Asia, with large entrance foyer and lobby area. Rooms were good size, with picture windows and a superb view over the very nice grounds of the hotel and over to the river. Breakfast was good with a great range and choice from the buffet. Chefs on each station will also help out, with eg making a fresh omelette. Ask for the watermelon juice. The staff noted that it was one of our birthdays during our stay from our check-in details and the hotel provided a good sized birthday cake free of charge, which was a nice touch. The staff all were very friendly and tried to be helpful.

It was difficult to pay by western credit cards, despite it being advertised that these were accepted. Luckily we were able to pay by Wechat but otherwise would have been difficult. The hotel is some way out of the town centre, but taxis are cheap so this isn't really a problem. A nice swimming pool, but a little chilly.

The location is fantastic, it's right by the river. The surrounding is very green and full of roses. It's very quiet. We got a room on the top floor and the view from the big window is amazing. There is a bathtub in the room too. The hotel lobby is big, bright and clean. The staff were very helpful. The swimming pool is gorgeous, it wasn't so used by the guests though, what a pity. The staff working at the swimming pool were very dedicated and kind, I feel it deserves more customers! Will definitely swim more next time. The breakfast has a large variety of choices! As a native Nanyang person, I find it very authentic. The staff in the restaurant behind the counter were kind and helpful too. I highly recommend staying at this place if you are visiting Nanyang for leisure or business. The front desk may not speak too much English though.

This hotel was a big surprise for a city like Nanyang, which is off the beaten track. It has amazing facilities-- swimming pool, great food, and a totally unique garden and lake that is a nature preserve unlike others I have seen in China. Staff is both sweet and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the main Chinese restaurant and the lovely outdoor barbecue by the lake are tops! What you get here is a full luxury experience for a third of the price you pay elsewhere in larger cities. A great stay-- and we will return when we are back in Nanyang.
