This hotel was lovely but in a run down area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very big bed and very comfortable. The restaurant food was very nice but not al a carte and they didn;t have a the first 3 things on the menu that I ordered. Excellent supply of toiletries, but no hair/hand towel. Tea and coffe facilities good. There is a lounge downstairs to get snacks. wine and have a cigarette.

The area around the hoel was run down. Walking outside was very tricky as the pavements were dangerous or non existant. Many holes in them. A lot of rubbish just piled up The balcony roof leaked and was not very private as everyone else on our floor could walk past and look into our room, due to the balcnies being linked.

I was given 2 keycards even though i am a solo traveller. The room was big and spacious. As i brought 2 luggages and it takes up some space but i still have so much space to move around in the room. My room was cleaned every day and they refill my water jug each time they cleaned the room. I also love the variety of food at the breakfast buffet.

I have to press and hold in order to use the hair dryer, but i understand that it is for saving electricity.

This is a well priced international hotel, with an excellent buffet breakfast. It is well located being central to many locations and is next to a shopping mall which allows guests to access groceries, restaurants, clothing and giftware. The hotel staff are helpful and will arrange things such as taxis for you on request.

Great location!! Just next door to Mal Ciputra. Convenient for a short stay..

Service seems to be a bit slow and inefficient. Had requested for connecting rooms and it didn’t really work out as per request. Basic room amenities were upon request and no longer given complimentary water in water bottles but in a flask/glass instead in the rooms. Feels like there is a lot of cost cutting and yet the room rates have gone up.

The location was really good . Esay to go anywhere. Ciputra Mall next to the hotel makes it easy to get anything . Never forget the warmest and helpfull smiling staff .. feeling great 😃

Novotel Pekan Baru is an exceptional hotel to stay in. Cleanliness, comfort, ambience, value for money, staff friendliness location deserve a standing ovation! Staff made my sister's birthday celebration an extremely heart wrenching moment. It was truly beautiful. Unforgettable! They went the extra and I mean really the extra mile to make the birthday a memorable one for my sister. All without a charge!

Excellent location of the hotel near the airport. Good food and good hospitality by hotel staff. Rooms are very clean with good air-conditioning. I recommend this hotel to everyone, who is looking for a good stay, good food and great hospitality
