This lovely family hotel exceeded our expectations! They warned us ahead about restaurant working hours and I am very happy I made it for dinner - it was exquisite, and we got to try a few local specials. The room would be called a suite anywhere else, it was spacious and had a lot of extra space, a large comfortable bathroom with a separate bidet and a terrace. We don't usually have breakfast, but the hostess was very concerned for us and kindly insisted that we pack some croissants to use as snack later in the day - usually hotels try to minimize breakfast spend. Everything was great and we are definitely staying again during our car trips across Europe!

Breakfast was perfect. They are also kind to offer their honey which is very nice gesture. The silence and peaceful environment are also good. The staff in breakfast was very fast and friendly. Bath was very big and clean in room 16. It was family room.

There was no WIFI in room 16 at all. As we had our own 5G it was not problem that much, but WIF-FI is generally important. Mister at reception could smile more :-) Somebody should remind him. Absence of elevator could be a problem for some people.

Excellent breakfast prepared and served by the lady owner herself. She recommended us places to visit around. We also used the courtyard electric charger for our plug-in hybrid car. After breakfast, we enjoyed going by car to the top of the hill beyond the hotel, where we admired the panorama of the city and of the entire Sava Valley and, after that, we went to the Slavonsky Brod fort. This very interesting Habsburgic fort on the bank of Sava River is being restored and some of the restored part presently hosts a high school.

Clean, quiet room with minibar, good bathroom. Good breakfast. Interesting decoration in the common rooms and the courtyard. The restaurant offers the opportunity for a meal or drink on the spot. Location: very quiet, easy exit to the highway (very good for our needs)

We would prefere a more spacy room (it was OK for one night, but not for a longer stay) No elevator. People who want to visit the center Slavonsky Brod (not just passing through like us), will need a car.

Very kind staff. We were very late due to the congestion on the highway, but the kitchen staff waited and prepared dinner for us even though they had finished the program.

Greater attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the rooms and the provision of accessories (shampoo, soap, etc.)

This cozy, comfortable, and unusually beautiful hotel is located in a quiet district of the town, not far away from the highway that connects Slovenia and Serbia. Hence it's ideally suited for travelers shuttling between western and eastern Europe, who need a quiet rest in between. All rooms are large, with central heating, air conditioning, an excellent wide bed, sitting furniture, a table and desk, large TV, minibar, and a clean and perfectly equipped bathroom. Strong WiFi is available in all areas. The big free parking lot never runs out of space. For breakfast, there's a rich buffet, and the hosts serve additional items on request. Generally, the hosts are very kind and willing to meet any needs.

Hotel was great! Clean, lots of room, very comfortable beds and pillows. Staff very kind.

Lots of stairs, so no elevator, would have appreciated help with suitcases, especially with medical pain. Asked for a later check out, which I was very grateful for them approving, however, at check out, was then charged for late check out.

The first impression you get when arriving on the property's big parking is the unusual building, which resembles more a fairy tale castle rather than a hotel. The fairy tale continues, when you enter the room. The big canopy bed is not just plain beautiful - it's comfortable as well. The same is true for the remaining furniture. Besides that, I especially appreciate the kindness of the owners, who do everything to make your stay a memorable experience. Of course, I'll return.

The hotel is on only 5km from the E70. Our check-in was after 21.00h, but we could order dinner and the food in the restaurant was very delicious. the staff is very kind. The room had small terrace with beautiful view. Excellent for our trip.

Besides the exceptional beauty and coziness of this privately-run property, I especially appreciate that the kind hosts care for all the little needs a traveller might have. It already starts when entering the room - in the cold seasons, it's already preheated. There's central heating AND air conditioning, both operative, so you can choose what combination fits best. It's hard to understand why so many hotels lack basic things in the bathroom, like a shelf for cosmetic products, enough electric outlets, a soap holder in the shower, or even small hooks for towels in use. Here you find everything you need. The rooms are spacious, and there's convenient furniture and a large bed that allows for the refreshing sleep needed for the subsequent traveling day. Breakfast is rich and tailored to individual requests. A great cappuccino is served, and you'll get home-made honey, too. On a five-star scale, I'd give this hotel six.

However much I reflect - there's really nothing to complain about.
