Spent one night here pre HumpRidge track. The lodge has a huge kitchen with everything you’d need, ended up with a 4 bed dorm to myself, comfy beds and super quiet. 4square supermarket across the road and the lodge itself sells food too. You probably wouldn’t want to spend your honeymoon here but it’s perfectly comfortable for a night or two

Awesome stay at Tui Base Camp. Really friendly and accomodating staff as we rolled in late following a road closure. I was in a bunk which was comfy! The kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked. The shower pressure was the best. PERIOD. great location to the Four Square for supplies and to the start of the Hump Ridge Track. THANKS

Value for money. Staff were really welcoming and attentive. An incredibly diverse little operation from hostel style to self contained units. Bar/Restaurant/ Cafe with a nice selection of food (GF slices and Homemade Pies etc). Waiting staff Saturday night were perfect. Well stocked Four Square just across the road so you can choose to cook for your self or eat in.

The bed in room 3 was a little lumpy but all good

It was huge. For a room, you could easily live in it. Heaters everywhere and electric blanket.

The bathroom was so big, it was impossible to warm up for a shower. So we just didn’t.

Laidback courteous and helpful

Not the tui lodge is fault , Tired and sore but still smiling as I walked in staggering like a drunk to pick up our stored belongings after 100 thousand steps looping the humpridge great walk Thanks from us all

Our room was cosy and close to all the amenities. The parking was perfect and we were within short walking distance from the Humpback Ridge pickup. There was also flexibility around self catering or eating at the cafe. A little mouse did pop into our room when we were out, but we chased it out the door.

There was nothing that we didn't like!

Shower floor needs help and repairs other then this the place was suitable

Great location wifh lots of facilities e.g restaurant. Able to store extra luggage securely while away for s few days on the Humpridge track. Great friendly and helpful staff.

Couch wobbled

Good location. Friendly staff. Able to store stuff while away on the track. Waiting in our room on retudn…awesome! Restaurant and bar onsite…super handy.
