From the moment we arrived @ the caravan park we got the feeling that someone cared, the grounds were well kept but the biggest surprise was when we opened the door to the cabin we rented for the night. The cabin was spacious, well laid out and clean, the air conditioning split system was whisper quiet but the biggest surprise was the fridge. There was a twin door full size fridge with ice cube making tray complete with ice cubes. A luxury we haven’t seen for a long time. Well done to all involved, we will definitely be back with you when overnighting in Cobar.
Sorry, couldn’t come up with anything

I was absolutely blown away by this place! The standard of the room was nothing short of luxurious and far exceeded my expectations for a caravan park. It was the perfect little oasis after a long drive from Broken Hill. Had I known just how beautiful the entire park was, I would have stayed much longer instead of simply passing through. It’s an absolute credit to the owners. The woman at reception was so lovely and welcoming—I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The location was also excellent, being close to shops and dining options. Although I didn’t have much time to explore, for the time I spent there, it was absolutely beautiful. The park was peaceful and quiet. While there were children playing in the early evening, as you’d expect in a caravan park, everyone settled down by night, and I had a very restful sleep. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable—the best I’ve come across in all my travels around the country. In fact, they were even better than my own at home! I’d love to know where they came from. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely stay here. Thank you for such a wonderful and welcoming experience!

We arrived after hours and were impressed at the ease of collecting keys, and the directions to our cabin, provided in the office outside wall safe - as per advice messaged to me. The cabin was nice and comfortable. As we arrived in 40 degree heat, the aircon effectiveness was appreciated. Clean facilities and comfy bed. Quiet, too, even though the park is on the main road.
Another person had used our allocated parking space and we had no recourse because we arrived after hours. There was plenty of space nearby so it didn;t really become a problem. The value seemed below average, with stays in similar places (eg Broken Hill) being 30% cheaper.

Wonderful facilities, very clean, very comfortable. We stayed in the end cabin, it was really large and very nice. Staff had the air conditioner on to cool the room before arrival. The grass was lovely to sit on as well, unusual for out west. It was private. Car spaces were great. Easy access to town.
Reception didn't open until after checking out.

Loved how friendly the staff were on arrival and departure. Tidy little unit that was exactly as needed, clean, dry and comfortable. Handy little kitchen which was nice and convenient!
I didn't really have a dislike. The outside bins were smelly ( but that only affected me when I walked over and opened it lol, otherwise I'd have never known!)

The beds were super comfortable for a pensioner with several medical conditions. Appliances etc all very user friendly. Also nice and clean and the staff were really friendly. Crucially for us our old dog was made very welcome.
Like most accommodation especially in rural areas some cupboards etc look a little tired but I was happy to forgive that as everything was so functional.

Great location, close enough to walk to the bowls and golf club. Impeccably clean cabin, well laid out, private, light and airy, and more than comfortable amount of room for two. The laundry block was also tidy, and change readily available at reception for washers & dryers. Plentiful line space for those with the time to air dry. Staff were very friendly & helpful, we would highly recommend staying at Cobar Caravan Park, particularly because other accommodation in town had mixed reviews from friends we travelled with.
The only feedback is that the bed mattress in our cabin was not very comfortable, too thin on the springs, but the good far outweighed this for us.

It’s clean and tidy. The cabins and sites are well laid out and it’s close to town. Staff I met was friendly. Happy to visit again when we are in Cobar next. They are pet friendly so that’s a big bonus for us.
If I had to complain then it’ll be that it’s next to a petrol station and there are trucks there with their engines running. But no biggie actually.
