This property is very comfortable, relaxing, and quiet. The staff, Peta and Mau, were very helpful and accommodating with transportation to town for shopping and dinner. The owner, Kjell, was fantastic. We enjoyed conversation and learning about the culture of Tonga. Breakfast was wonderful. We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast. The reef was just off the boat dock. It is a beautiful, healthy reef with many species of fish and coral. The bay was perfect for kayaking. Thank you to Mystic Sands for a wonderful stay.

the room had plenty of space to move around. Peta picked me up from the airport $$60top.Make sure you converted money to tonga $$ because you can't at the hotel. There is water, and that is it. no restaurants or bars anywhere near, no AC but an overhead fan. It was raining and muggy . Peta stopped in the small town, so I got bottled water,cheese,crackers, and a poweraide .we walked to a restaurant to order a pizza to bring to room- canned mushrooms. It probably would have been better if I could have eaten it hot. As the only guest, my check-in was a little long. Cal, the owner was very nice ,explaining he just got electricity on They're planning on getting AC in the near future - will make it much better. no soap in the bathroom, but small shampoo

ants & termites in the bed. no soap in bathroom , no AC, wifi was spotty, no phone, clock, TV, no place to walk to-restaurant or bar. no pool- just a shallow kiddie pool.make sure you bring a book, take away food and some thing to drink.owners are very nice

We had an awesome time at Mystic Sands. Peta, Mau and Kel were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to make our holiday a memorable one. The sett and accommodation are fabulous. Thanks Mystic Sands.

Lovely breakfast every morning Relaxing nice deck with awsome view into habour. Little wharf with tropical fish to look at. Kayaks are available to use, We did and it was great. Snorkeling was really good straight out front. We definitely will be comming back

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mystic Sands. The owners and staff are lovely and made a huge effort for us. The location is very pretty and you can snorkel off the jetty.

The property is a long way out of town i.e. 20 minutes by car. You really need to hire a car to enjoy it.

A welcoming and relaxed setting. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed and the grounds and facilities well maintained. Friendly and unobtrusive service from an attentive team. Location is also sheltered from trade winds.

The most beautiful, small, relaxed, tropical resort you could imagine. Amazing, friendly service! No restaurant or bar but tasty food delivered to your room on request and the staff offered to shop for alcohol in town if we wanted. We could have stayed so much longer

I cannot think of a single thing that could be improved, understanding that this resort is in Vava’u where there is limited access to goods and produce.

Perfect location. The best staff always making sure we have everything we need. We were spending all days swimming, snorkeling and kayaking.

The room was perfect, clean and very comfortable with a gorgeous little private deck to eat breakfast and enjoy the ocean view. Infinity pool a bonus. Owners and staff were very nice and helpful. Kitchenette was very handy as there was limited lunch and dinner options nearby. Swimming with whales boat picked us up from their private jetty and took my son and I on the most magical whale swimming adventure you could ever imagine and made this holiday one we will remember for a lifetime
