Lovely historical building in the heart of the old town of Altamura. Very clean, very quiet and staff very attentive and lovely, ready to accommodate our needs. 10/10 for staff and cleanliness.

Breakfast. When a property comes with “breakfast included” it should specify before the place is booked that breakfast is available via tickets to a bar that’s 200m away and you’ll only get one hot drink and one pastry. I’m happy to pay more to have real breakfast included or to be specified before booking( for allergy and various health issues purposes, we are not all the same and eat identical) All the rest was perfect.

Good location, very well appointed room, great shower (I wish we'd gotten to try the spa but the rain shower was really cool too), very friendly and helpful host. Recommended!

The front door is quite narrow (I believe it does open wider, but we didn't try) and there's a lot of steps up to the rooms we stayed in - these were not deal-breakers for us but worth mentioning!

Our host was outstanding, providing lots of helpful advice and support when we got a little bit lost. She also arranged for us to bring our bikes inside so they would be secured overnight. Altamura itself has been the standout destination of our trip. The people were incredibly friendly and the city is beautiful. I would happily visit again.

This apartment is perfectly situated to have a look around Altamura and to range out to Gravina and Matera. There is a very nice Osteria around the corner and other places to eat nearby. My hostess Angela was quite lovely.

The property is technically a B&B but the breakfast is off site and there is no way to make a coffee in the morning as the kitchen is only partially equipped. You have to leave the property and walk a ways to get that very necessary early morning coffee!

Good place to stay, as long as you are physically in good shape. To access the room, you need to do some stairs, walk about 200 m to the closest parking, and to get to the shower you have to use stairs as well. Comes with the historical building, but the hosts tried to make the best of it. Good staring point to explore Altamura, Bair, Matera and Gravina.

Great location and very clean.

I forgot there was a spa and as the host had little English we didn’t receive any directions to it- it did not seem to be in the building. The breakfast included was not good. They had run out of everything and we had no choice but cake. I have stayed at many B&B’s all over Italy and this was def not the best breakfast, unfortunately.

An excellent location, close to the center of the town. Impeccable cleanliness and very good communication with the owner who helped us with details and recommendation and reservation for dinner in an excellent location.

Basically everything was great :) Very nice and clean room, water in the fridge every day, delicious Italian breakfasts and very good location

The smell in the room could be less intense - the smell was so intense that we had to put the air freshener (scent sticks) on the balcony
