The Hotel is very comfy, and the staff is very helpful and kind. The place is very quiet, and there's a very nice and clean pool right in front of most of the rooms. Breakfast at the Hotel is definitely good, they have fresh fruits and different kinds of meals (local and western). Seaside is just a minute walk from the Hotel and the beach is huge. Bear in mind that there are not many restaurants or shops, but the ones available have everything you might need. A super thank you to Hann and his staff: they have been very helpful in making our stay wonderful and organizing all the rides we needed.

We had two rooms we had two rooms with a shared verandah which was very nice they gave us an extra key so that the children could be in one and we could be in the other and we didn't have to worry about getting into their room in an emergency in the night. The swimming pool was brilliant, really liked that it was big and deep, they were very friendly and helpful, very happy to carry bags with the golf carts. Great parking, some of which was covered, the breakfast was nice and it was in a really great location for us, very short walk to the beach the beach had great markets and stalls on it. It wasn't really a swimming beach but with the pool and everything that didn't matter I think of all the beaches we went to in Thailand it was the nicest from the point of view of the stands it was really not very touristy at all which was great but also there was so much wildlife either with loads of borrowing crabs but also the hermit crabs and there were fish to be seen just just in the shallows which was amazing. Oh and they also had free access to some bicycles if you wanted to just go further down the beachfront.

I think because of where it is inevitable but there were problems with ants he definitely couldn't have food in the room at all. Some more shade around the pool might have been nice but otherwise fine.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Green Beach resort very much to our satisfaction. Upon arrival we were received hospitably and were allowed into our villa 3 hours before normal check-in hours. For 3 days we enjoyed the buffet breakfast with quite a large variety of food, both Thai dishes and western style. The food was tasteful and fresh. The first day we just relaxed at the big pool and enjoyed a walk on the long and wide beach. On second day we borrowed 4 bikes (complimentary of the resort) and cycled to the national park entrance. There we bought tickets (200 baht) and went on a trekking trip on the rather challenging and steep trails leading to the famous Phraya Nakhon Cave. A less demanding option is to go by small motor boats near the shore to a point almost half way to the cave. The bicycle trip (10 km) back and forth took 1.5-2 hours and the trekking likewise, and due to the heat it was a rather exhausting trip bu definitely rewarding. Recommend to do the trip early in the morning when the heat is less intense. The third day we booked two trips with the Green Resort's driver: First to the very beautiful freshwater marshland/swamps where we went on a 1.5 hour's boat trip to watch the birds and lotus flowers. Half way we stopped at the boardwalk with a watch tower to get a "bird's view" of the marshland. Highly recommended! The afternoon trip was to Kui Buri national park where we went on an almost 3 hours long trip on a jeep. We spotted only 2 elephants but several herds of wild Gaura cows (looks a bit like wildebeast). All in all we are very happy with our stay at the Green Beach Resort and the Khao Sam Roi Yot region and would definitely consider returning here some day!

Some of the servants did not speak much English.

The villa was lovely set in well kept gardens with butterflies, exotic birds and beautiful trees. Great facilities in the room with powerful aircon, smart TV, fresh towels, water and good shower. Great pool and lounging area. Swam every day. Very near to the beach for a walk, swim, kayak, boat trip. Stunning scenery of the coast and nearby islands. Such friendly and helpful staff. Free bicycles made trips to other places to eat easy and to explore the local area. Little shop on site for snacks, drinks and ice cream. I'd recommend it as a top place to stay and relax whilst exploring the National Park.

Only a couple of nearer convenience stores could have made it better.

The staff were very friendly just as we’d read, they were helpful and kind and willing to attend to every need. The swimming pool was lovely, open late and atmospheric. Not only did they supply bicycles but they also supplied bicycles with a baby seat perfect for our toddler, this was unexpected and he loved it, it also gave us more freedom. The location is beside the national park (although it’s still a one hour drive) and on Saturdays there is a fantastic night market on the beach opposite the hotel, with live music which just made our quiet time there. There are some excursions like you can go on a safari to see wild elephants in a local reserve, a boat trip into a cave, or on a dolphin boat trip. We went to the elephants and were extremely lucky to have a great view of a whole family, but you could easily go and only see one from a far away distance. It did feel slightly like a tourist trap as so many of us were going around in our jeeps, but if you get lucky it doesn’t take away from the magic as the guides are very considerate of each other and work together very well.

It’s a plus/negative depends what you expect. The area is below Hua Hin so it’s almost like no one quite reached that far. So there’s nothing to do apart from enjoy the beach, stroll along one street, choose from a handful of restaurants and the closest proper supermarket is a 20 minute drive by car. Again from travelling to HuaHin to take the bus when leaving it appeared to be the opposite and more like a big city, so if you want a really local chilled vibe it’s perfect. If you want nightlife or things to do there’s nothing apart from a few excursions. And breakfast is a lovely buffet, but when the hotel is very empty you will be offered a choice from a menu instead, which makes sense.

The pool was great. Clean, big with places to lay. The breakfast had a huge amount of various options. Yogurt with muesli, fried rice, eggs, jam etc etc. The room was very comfortable. There were a lot of things to do around (elephants in Kui Buri, caves)

N/A. The only thing is that the bikes could use some maintenance :) but it is possible to ride them. Also the common area for the family room is outside. So there are two keys etc. If you have small kids it might not work well - but it is clearly stated in the description.

Staff were great, breakfast was good, location was excellent. 15 minutes drive to the Bueng Bua boat trip which means you don't need to drive the longer trip to the boardwalk as the boat takes you there. ATV for families a short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and free bike use from the hotel. Lovely pool as well. Peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. I would definitely go again.

Nothing really but if I was being picky the room aircon worked ok but was old and the TV didn't have any non Thai channels.

Very relaxing stay literally one minute from the beach. Spacious room (slightly old-fashioned) in small villa. Comfortable bed. Room always cleaned promptly and efficiently. Quiet. Large pool - never too busy - plenty of loungers. Breakfast good. Free bicycles for exploration of local area. Staff extremely helpful for booking excursions further afield, and generally very friendly.

A few more coat hangers would be helpful ...

The room was large well equipped clean and comfortable. The staff I found a particular joy as nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile and a resolution. The pool was a good size and well mantained. Breakfast was more than adequate and requests for menu variations were always obliged. Location is fantastic, 2 minute walk to the beach, and easy distance to good eateries and bars...Be aware, this is a small under developed resort. If you want nightlife this is NOT the place for you!

Beach too sandy and sea too warm LOL

4 of us stayed in 2 poolside villas on Friday 28th June and the rooms were comfortable and very clean with coffee & tea making facilities plus 2 bottles of water. The staff were very polite and helpful and the location is excellent 50m from the beach. The pool is very good and we would book this hotel again. They have bycicles to rent for free and there are several bars and cafes close by on the beach road. A beautiful holiday resort. The breakfast was good with a choice of meals cooked to order. All in all a nice hotel worthy of 3 stars. Phraya Nakhon cave is only a 12 minute drive away and Beung Bua lake is 42 minutes drive away.

It is the low season so there were only a couple of occupied rooms and the resort itself was very quiet. The wi-fi was not secured which was a problem for online banking.
